I have used a couple of Tuners on the App Store and they have all worked ok, but I heard that this one was fantastic. So I paid 5 dollars and tried it out. After I downloaded the app I opened it and tried clicking a button, no response. I click a different button, no response. I start tapping all the buttons on the screen and nothing happens. I allowed everything in my settings and it still didn’t work. I even deleted and redownloaded the app several times and still nothing worked. This app scammed me out of my 5 dollars. That may not sound important, but I am a kid just trying to help my sister time her new guitar, so 5 dollars means a lot to me. Do not buy.

It’s a fantastic metronome and tuner. What would push me to 5 stars is the ability to sync across my iPhone and iPad. I’m surprised this isn’t available by now.

As a music educator and musician, I cannot express how valuable this app has been to my students and I since I downloaded it at least 7 years ago. Utilizing the iPhone’s microphone, this app is more sensitive to sound than dedicated, battery operated tuners. I utilize this app to tune myself during rehearsals over my actual tuner (flute & piccolo are my primaries). I also use this app to tune my students and put it on transpose mode when I am teaching horn lessons. The fact that it is a metronome as well is amazing! There are a myriad of settings for the metronome that are helpful for any level of practicing and instruction. If you are in need of a tuner, to say TE tuner is well worth the cost is an understatement!

My kids love it so much that they play games with it and that use it for love and play their bad instrument I hate their instrument

Can’t use the tuner. I have an iPhone 15 and I cannot use the tuner because with the newer iPhone model, the app has to request for access to the microphone. But TonalEnergy Tuner doesn’t request access to the microphone so the iPhone doesn’t give the tuner access. Therefore, you can’t use the tuner.

Got this app when I was in college and I’m 12 years into teaching and use it all day everyday. It’s so versatile and user-friendly. I’ve used it with groups beginners to advanced, elementary to college, and more. Thank you for a wonderful app with so many great features!

Im addicted to tonal energy tuner

I am a professional saxophonist and I’ve been using this app for well over a decade now. Stop messing with all of the free tuner and metronome apps… Just buy this one. Trust me.

TE tuner has a lot of great capabilities, like a tuner, a metronome, and it even plays the notes of different instruments for you to tune to.

I love this app and I have been using it for about a year now. Recently I haven’t been able to use the metronome+ because it just doesn’t click. I can use other features like the tuner and the regular metronome but for some reason I can’t seem to make the metronome+ work.
