Have ordered several of these bags and generally the experience of what you receive is generally disappointing. Often it’s a bag of the same item (eg loaves of nearly stale bread) that generally have to be consumed immediately but would be impossible to use so much in a short period . In most cases much has to be binned anyway

Used this app a few times and was going ok until I got hustled for £5.98. Reserved a too good to go with around 15-20 mins before collection. I quickly got ready and had to walk to store which took around 15-20 mins. Arrived at store around 10 mins after order collection and door propped wide open, open up app to get the order ready to collect and the company I was collecting from closed it off as not collected. I asked if they could reopen the order and they said they couldn’t but asked if I was willing to pay again. I said Yes because I’ve walked all this way and I thought I would get a refund from too good to go. Well I wasn’t able too and the explanation i got at first was it’s like trains, if you miss it you don’t get a refund. Anyway they hustled me and got double. Took the L and requested to delete my account. I wouldn’t recommend this app.

I downloaded the app set up a collection for the Pret over the street turned up one minute into the collection time. They closed and told me to go away. Contacted customer services. They didn't respond. So no food and no money. Broken system.

I think the idea behind the app is great, BUT there should be some sort of penalty for vendors that cancel orders “because they don’t have any left” some time after your order has been accepted. For this reason I haven’t used the app much this year but yes, I tried again today - December 28, “reserved” some food and yet again my order was cancelled about 3 hours after paying.
