The app has a basic function take my money and and give a code to top up with but it struggles to do that. the amount of time it’ll bug out and take my money and not provide a code is astounding and if so you have to wait 7 working days to get your money back. That’s crazy how are you taking my money in less than 30 seconds but giving it back requires a bloody week and sometimes it won’t even do what it’s made for like seriously I enter my cvv number and phone number and when it asks me to verify with my banking app which I do then nothing happens I just get a payment error try again with to other cards and corresponding banking apps and got the same result. The developer really needs to work on this thing.

Was sold one of these meters on the basis that they told I could check the balance in the app, I have mobility issue and they installed my meter 10 feet up a wall, no way to check my balance on the app, now have to call them twice a week to know how much credit I have. Would never have agreed if I knew the system was this bad.

If a first year computer science student turned this app in for a project, they’d fail. Switching to Energia or PrePayPower is probably easier than topping up by €75 - partly because you can’t top up by €75, it has to be either €10, €20, €30, €40, €50, or €100. Plus the app stole €20 from me last time I tried to top up. Possibly worst of all is an app for iPhone in this day and age doesn’t support Apple Pay nor does it support autofill for your card details. Electric Ireland, I will be in touch. Again.
