Makes from your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and/or Macbook a complete GPS device with detailed topographic maps. Viewed maps will be stored on your device so that Topo GPS can also be used offline.
Why should you buy an expensive GPS device if you can install Topo GPS? Topo GPS contains all functions of a regular GPS device for less money, has a much more detailed map, and is more convenient to operate. The accuracy of the position determination is in favorable conditions about 5 m.

If you are recording a route, the GPS will run in the background. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Super dejligt til planlægning af ture ud i det blå. Let at exportere gpx data til fx Garmin Connect. Bruger Topo GPS flittigt til vandre og skitouring.

Det her er min favorit app til planlægning af ture.
Siden jeg startede med at bruge den her app, har jeg ikke haft brug for min Garmin. Jeg planlægger mine ture i Topo GPS og exporter GPX til Workoutdoors app for navigation og det virker super godt. Kan i ikke tilføje en Tip Jar funktion så man frivilligt kan bidrage til fremtidig udvikling.

Dejligt digitalt “4cm kort”
Vild med denne app. Har fået min ungdoms spejderløb 4 cm kort tilbage. Bruge det Big time når vi går i det fri. Og lækkert at det er opdateret.

Too slow to download maps
It takes forever to download a map, and the app can only download when it is open. So it was not possible for me to download any map. So the solution is to use better map-format like Garmin.
