## Topo GPS Description
Maakt van je iPhone, iPad, Macbook en/of Apple Watch een volwaardig GPS apparaat met de zeer gedetailleerde topografische kaarten. Geraadpleegde kaarten worden op je opgeslagen, zodat je Topo GPS ook zonder internetverbinding kunt gebruiken.

Waarom nog een GPS apparaat aanschaffen als je Topo GPS op je iPhone/iPad kunt installeren. Topo GPS bevat alle functies van een normaal GPS apparaat, voor veel minder geld, en met een betere kaart en eenvoudiger bediening. In gunstige omstandigheden is de nauwkeurigheid van de positiebepaling is ongeveer 5 m.

Ideaal voor wandelen, fietsen, paardrijden, mountainbiken, wielrennen, hiken, varen, geocaching, scouting en andere buitenactiviteiten. Ook geschikt voor professioneel gebruik.

- Kaart
* Om Topo GPS te kunnen gebruiken moet u een kaart kopen.
* Bevat topografische kaarten van vele landen, waaronder Nederland (1:25.000), België (Cartoweb), Duitsland, Frankrijk, Groot Britannië, Spanje en Scandinavië.
* Topografische kaarten zijn erg gedetailleerd, bevatten hoogtelijnen en zijn zeer geschikt voor buiten activiteiten.
* Alle kaarten van een gebieden kunnen off-line toegankelijk worden gemaakt via het kaart-download-scherm.

- Routes
* Opnemen van routes, met pauze en herstart mogelijkheid.
* Plannen van routes via routepunten.
* Wijzigen van routes.
* Routes kunnen worden gesynchroniseerd met uw andere apparaten via iCloud.
* Zoeken van routes met filters.
* Routes kunnen worden geordend in mappen.

- Waypoints
* Toevoegen van waypoints door lang op de kaart te drukken.
* Toevoegen van waypoints door een adres of coördinaat in te voeren.
* Delen van waypoints.

- Ondersteunde bestandsformaten:
* Importeren: gpx, kml, kmz, geojson (ook allemaal gecomprimeerd als zip), WFS
* Exporteren: gpx (ook gecomprimeerd als zip)

- Ondersteunde coordinaten systemen:
WGS 84 decimaal, WGS 84 graden minuten (seconden), UTM, MGRS, Rijskdriehoekscoördinaten (RD), Lambert 2008 en meer.

- Overig 
* Als u een route opneemt blijft de GPS in de achtergrond aan staan. Daardoor kan de batterij snel leeg raken. Let dus op uw batterij verbruik. 
* Bij iPad en iPod touch werkt positiebepaling alleen tot een aantal meter nauwkeurig als het apparaat een ingebouwde GPS heeft. De iPhone heeft altijd een ingebouwde GPS.
* Rdzl, het bedrijf achter Topo GPS, verkrijgt op geen enkele manier de positie van de gebruiker van Topo GPS. Rdzl verkrijgt de opgenomen routes niet en bewaart uitgezette/geplande routes niet, tenzij de gebruiker deze zelf deelt met Topo GPS. Wij verkopen ons product en niet onze gebruikersgegevens.

Zeer veelzijdig te gebruiken voor wandelingen en fietstochten. Sommige kaartopties moeten gekocht worden, maar de prijzen zijn redelijk. Ik gebruik het voor fietstochten, hierin kan ook gebruik gemaakt worden van de fietsknooppunten. Ik zet roue opnemen aan, ook op reeds ingeplande routes. De opgenomen route kan naar gpx formaat ge-exporteerd worden om later te gebruiken in andere geodata apps, of om fotoos te voorzien van geodata.
