The birds are so cute and the music is actually really catchy and charming. HOWEVER, one thing that did bother me is that the bios of the birds don’t list of WHAT KIND OF BIRD it is. That made me kinda sad, because I’m genuinely interested to know what kinds of birds these are. If the game developers could add that on the next update it would make the game a lot better and more educational! 😊 -- Kat_Pricorn, 2024-10-17 ### ***** "Perfect for me!" I’ll start with a Pro Tip: for those of you like me coming from Neko Atsume, I did notice a distinct difference in the “food” feature. In Neko, when you place the free basic cat food, it seems to last FOREVER compared the free breadstick counterpart in this game. If you’re putting breadsticks out and keep missing the birds, even just the veggie sticks seem to have a much longer active timeframe and attract more birds so you’re very likely to see them. I know this sort of tiered food stuff was also in Neko (using more in-game currency gets you better in-game results) but it’s A LOT more noticeable in Tori Note. I thought this was a flaw at first, but I think it has to do with the musical aspect of this game; it seems to help keep the instruments/sounds you hear from the birds fresh and varied while not becoming repetitive and potentially annoying. That being said, if I had anything to say to the developer for improvements, I would say that making the duration of the basic breadsticks longer would be helpful and more enjoyable to most players! I play this as an adult, but I think for kids especially, they’re more likely to want to save their feathers for in-game items and toys to place in the environment, and may get too discouraged by the basic breadsticks “not working” as well as the higher options even when they place cool stuff in their yard. All that being said though I’m very nostalgic for Neko Atsume, and I love both birds and music, so I was very happy to learn of this game’s existence and it did not disappoint! I have very few games on my mobile devices (I’m more of a console gamer) but I’ll for sure be playing this for as long as it’s supported and more! It’s a great game on it’s own but also an excellent expansion on what Neko Atsume started and I’d recommend it to just about anyone looking for an app to just chill with. :) And thank you so much Hit-Point for working on these games for so long! -- ilovetorinote, 2024-09-13 ### ***** "Cute!" (It’s my new obsession!!!)" I absolutely love this game, there is a wide variety of birds that you can take pictures of and always exiting to see what new bird that is at my forrest!!! It makes new music every time that you get a new bird and what is cool is that you can get new songs to try with different birds. It’s not very complicated but that does not take away from the fun of the game, I recommend tapping the little sparrow and turning off conducting so you can get a different picture like with the bird sleeping or something different. My only complaint is the rate that you get rainbow feathers. It’s way slower than getting gold fish in neko atsume and they cost 500 regular feathers for ONE single rainbow one. Almost all of the cool items, songs, stages, anything cost rainbow feathers so shouldn’t they be given out more? It’s the same premise, but the food runs out so quickly and barely any birds show up, even when I put down premium food, and because so little birds show up, I barely make any in-game money back. I’ll leave the game for a few hours only to come back and see that only 2 birds ever came. But, I have a few suggestions." I downloaded this game on a whim. I had been playing another one of Hit Point’s games for years, called Neko Atsume. I figured this one would be similar, and I was not disappointed! This game is really cute and doesn’t require much effort. However, I do wish there was a few more things. I think it would be nice to have more birds, and maybe allow them to be in different poses. But, I understand the different poses would be hard to do, as they are playing instruments. I also would like to have a way to get a few extra rainbow feathers than what the birds give once they leave, since furniture and food is pretty costly. Those are just small things I hope for in the future, but overall, I love this game!
