## Toronto Life Magazine Description
Toronto Life magazine is the destination for people who care about Toronto, Canada’s most vibrant city. It provides insight into the personalities and events that shape the landscape of the city, and helps readers make informed choices about everything from restaurants and shopping to real estate and culture.

Toronto Life offers an exciting, essential and entertaining guide to life in Toronto through its in-depth reporting, intelligent analysis and quality writing. Our app features the magazine's content for tablet and mobile.

The app is free for paid print subscribers. New app subscribers receive a one-month free trial. Please note that the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled more than 24 hours before the end of the current subscription, and you will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current subscription. You can cancel a subscription during the free trial period through your device's account settings.

----------------------------------------------

This is a free app download. Within the app users can purchase the current issue and back issues.

Subscriptions are also available within the application. A subscription will start from the latest regular issue at the time of purchase.

-The subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled more than 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, for the same duration and at the current subscription rate for the product.
-You may turn off the auto-renewal of subscriptions through your Account Settings, however you are not able to cancel the current subscription during its active period.
-Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when a subscription to that publication is purchased.
-If a subscription offers a free trial, at the end of the trial period, you will be charged the full price of the subscription. You may cancel a subscription during its free trial period via the subscription settings on your iTunes account. This must be done 24 hours before the end of the subscription period to avoid being charged.

Users can register for/ login to a pocketmags account in-app. This will protect their issues in the case of a lost device and allow browsing of purchases on multiple platforms. Existing pocketmags users can retrieve their purchases by logging into their account.

We recommend loading the app for the first time in a wi-fi area so that all issue data is retrieved.
If your app will not load past the splash page after a first install or an update, please delete and reinstall the app from the App Store

## Toronto Life Magazine Reviews in Canada

### ***-- "No access for previous issues"
I have been a subscriber of Toronto Life for ever and i find it super frustrating to have paid for a digital and paper subscription and to not have access to previous issues on the digital app. I have contacted the company several times to no avail…
-- SosoFrench, 2022-11-15

### *---- "Digital magazine doesn’t work"
I am a digital subscriber but it never works. Have been able to access for months now. I paid for an entire year but it has only worked once
-- AnaSToronto, 2022-07-20

### *---- "Hoax"
I’m a print subscriber and cannot access the digital content as promised. It keeps saying “It’s not your fault, it’s ours”
For over a year? Weak…
-- Blackjack1765, 2022-01-13

### *---- "Doesn’t work"
I’m a print subscriber, but I get errors galore trying to view the digital version. Gave up.
-- Data use Scrooge, 2021-05-21

### *---- "Useless"
I have an active subscription but I can’t access back issues without paying for them. Keep getting “Error connecting to network” message. Rubbish.
-- sah1967, 2021-03-07

### *---- "App is broken"
It never works and I paid for the subscription and have never received anything. Terrible terrible terrible
-- skcnff!, 2020-03-21

### *---- "Trash"
App is completely broken. Constantly gives an error about connecting to my network constantly. Completely ruins the experience. Horrible.
-- Nocontact, 2019-12-31

### *---- "Don’t get it..."
I can go on the website and access content for free. Why do I need to login? Pay? Confused.
-- 22summer22, 2019-07-26

### ***-- "Average app for a good magazine"
Pros: Content - the reason I put up with the app.
Cons: Constantly signing in - doesn't seem to remember who I am. Orientation for reading inflexible. Charging me for magazines I've already paid for and are archived?? The New Yorker doesn't do this.
-- Slater_Smith, 2017-02-22

### ***-- "Good mag, not great app"
This is the go-to magazine for the liberal elite in Toronto (yes, hipsters get some love too). Restaurant guide is a must read. New app isn't great, extremely slow downloads, but you are probably having your PA download for it you, so no worries ....
-- Just saying ..., 2017-02-18
