## TouchOSC Description
Brand-new app. Brand-new powerful editor.

We've listened for the past 10 years and we've re-written the application from the ground up - with speed, features and usability in mind. A GPU-powered, fast and advanced integrated editor is part of TouchOSC on all platforms - create the most complex of control layouts with ease and precision.

MIDI, OSC and more...

TouchOSC supports sending and receiving any number of MIDI and OSC messages on many connections simultaneously. On top of OSC over UDP & TCP, we support every type of wired & wireless MIDI connection your device can offer, including MIDI over USB.

Cross-Network. Synchronized editing.

Multiple instances of TouchOSC can be connected on the network for synchronized editing. Use the precision of your desktop's mouse and keyboard for fine-grained, detailed editing - test-drive and preview in real-time on all connected touch-screen devices at the same time.

Scripting and local messages.

A lightweight and fast scripting engine allows deep access to all aspects of your controller and enables limitless customization and interactivity. For less complex tasks we've added local messages - simply wire up controls to transmit or display values; no need to break out the big (code) guns. Easy.

This is only the beginning...

We've supported and updated TouchOSC Mk1 for more than 10 years and we're planning to do the same for this new version. We've already got a whole bunch of features cooking that were just not quite ready yet. There is so much more to come...

Welcome to the next generation!

## TouchOSC Reviews in Australia

### ****- "Almost perfect…"
This app is phenomenal in the amount of power it gives you, the scripting capabilities are fantastic. I’ve bought the app 3 times for different venues. The only gap I’ve found, is being able to access the values of one control, from the script of a different control. For example, I want to create a toggle switch using a radio - then in another control such as a button, read the radio value in the buttons script, and send a different OSC message depending on the state of the radio control. I believe the developer commented on wanting to implement something along these lines in future, but that was ~5 years ago. Hoping we get this “cross-control scripting” at some point. Even if it was just in the form of being able to set global variables that can be accessed and updated from multiple controls. The state could be managed that way. This would be a huge improvement

### ***** "I sold my hardware keyboard after buying this app!"
This app basically lets you build your dream keyboard. I put my Novation Launchkey Mini straight on eBay after buying this app. It’s more pleasant to play than hardware, no clacky keys, and you can even play over wifi from your sofa. So far I’ve built free controllers for synthesizers such as Omnisphere, Serum, Diva, Vital, Massive and Analog Lab that are all proving popular. Just Google them. The developers are also very friendly and helpful so if you are confused by the rather technical manual, stick with it and email them, they will help you out as they did with me.

### ***** "MIDI evolved"
Most MIDI controllers on the AppStore that were good now seem to be 6+ years old, tired, clunky, and barely maintained. It makes you feel like MIDI is dying.

This is a breath of fresh air - new, slick, incredibly powerful, with a beautiful editor. MIDI has a future!
