TouchOSC Mk1

Då den är gratis så har många gort den till standard. På bra och dåligt. Den är enkel men jag kan sakna lite funktioner som betal OSC appar har.

Ren, enkel, kvick och smidig. Att göra egna template gör det pilligare, men originaltemplaten som finns är en mycket bra start. Jag använder appen tillsammans med Max MSP på dator

A nice WIP at best. Ultra hard to config. This sums up all reason why I avoid at all costs wireless music production. Add automatic wifi / host detection, and I'm willing to give it another try. And... The forum hasn' approved me yet.

Fix it please. Why should people pay for this??

I completely disagree with Mr. Andersson. TouchOSC is an incredibly powerful app and just takes a little patience to get started controlling your DAW. Try googling for help setting up TouchOSC. In my case, I am using Ableton Live. This is what I did and I found a few websites/blogs that offered A LOT of help. Try googling "problems connecting TouchOSC" and click on the search result "HOW-TO: iPhone TouchOSC + Pure Data". A very friendly person has explained Step-by-step how to get TouchOSC operating with Live. I am sure this is partly useful if you wish to control other programs such as Logic, Cubase, etc...or you can google for help with TouchOSC and those programs. OR CONTACT TOUCHOSC support maybe? Anyway, I'm very glad to be able to use Live's features remotely now. THANK YOU HEXLER GREAT APP!! Recommended if you have patience to get it setup properly. USE GOOGLE!

After spending 3-4 hours trying to set this time vampire up I now give up. This is a great idea for an app, and I'm sure that it's way cool to use if you get it to work. However, the server software you need on your computer (to recieve the control signals from this app) is, in short, a joke.

Al cambiar a un iPad de última generación, no detectaba el host. La solución fue buscar la app en la configuración del iPad y permitir el acceso a la red

I’ve tried everything, followed the online “manual” (such as it is) and TouchOSC from my iPad will not send any midi control to Ableton Live. Installed TouchOSC Bridge on my desktop PC… multiple times, TouchOSC finds TouchOSC Bridge my desktop, connects to it with no issue, configured Ableton Live to correctly to send and receive MIDI using the TouchOSC Bridge but no midi commands from sent from my iPad using TouchOSC register in Ableton Live. I have wasted HOURS fighting with this app, did send in a contact request but as of yet no response. Even at one point installed Protokol, using the OSC protocol was able to see the midi messages being sent but STILL… no midi changes in Ableton. I WANT MY FIVE DOLLARS BACK!!!!
