I've been using this app for years. They've made a bunch of money off of me, despite that I only got it to see the line up (back then you couldn't see the playlist on the jukebox). Then last week I get a warning "Soon logging in via Facebook with this version will no longer be supported". It's been so long since I logged in (I love that) I had to confirm, yup, that's how I login. Message sounds like there's been an/some updates they kept secret until now. What app doesn't mention an update? Or announces it with a veiled threat like that? So I update. I'd have been better off skipping it. Look and layout is TERRIBLE, they hide the playlist away - sorry, that's the most important feature! - and the display is dominated by some (suggested?) Metallica playlist. What? Why? Pretty sure this place isn't big on Metallica, seems like this place has always trended towards old school rock. But I haven't seen the complete layout yet, for reasons I will explain. So I go to login. Opens a built-in browser - NOTE TO ALL APP DEVELOPERS: NOOOOOOOO BUILT-IN BROWSER, EVER! Need a browser, use Safari. Also, don't need a browser - to the Facebook login page. Uh, what? Such things usually use the Facebook app for permission to login/get my information. Whatever, I do it. Opens my Facebook news feed in the built-in browser. What? I'm not trying to browse Facebook on your built-in browser! Only exit is called Cancel, I hit it, and I'm not logged in! I try a few times, nope. Reported the issue, next night no response. Now it's a week later, and there was an App Update! Nope, not fixed. Really? A major segment of their customer base is locked out after an update we're harassed to get and fixing it isn't a priority? I see my report got a response, which was an offer to convert my account from a Facebook account to a direct TouchTunes account (but that'll take a week, for some reason they only do conversions once a week). Fixing this major bug is THAT much low priority? Huh? I wish I could just go back to the good version, but Apple hasn't figured out how that should be an option, that updates can ruin things and/or be broken sometimes. EDIT: Week 3, I had informed support that I already have a direct TouchTunes account, it would be better to transfer my history/unlocks/credits if they can, otherwise convert, so tonight I hoped one account or the other would be ready to go. First support person had acted immature but I thought we were past that.
