Build quaint island towns with curvy streets. Build small hamlets, soaring cathedrals, canal networks, or sky cities on stilts. Block by block.
No goal. No real gameplay. Just plenty of building and plenty of beauty. That's it.
Townscaper is an experimental passion project. More of a toy than a game. Pick colors from the palette, plop down colored blocks of house on the irregular grid, and watch Townscaper's underlying algorithm automatically turn those blocks into cute little houses, arches, stairways, bridges and lush backyards, depending on their configuration.

Townscaper FAQ
Is Townscaper free?
Townscaper is not free (it costs 4.99), however it doesn't contain in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Townscaper legit?
✅ The Townscaper app appears to be high-quality and legitimate. Users are very satisfied.
I love this game, my coworker said to me “you paid 5.99” for that game I said yes, it’s just as much as a Big Mac and I get to use it everyday. No ads nothing extra. I would LOVE it you guys could add people, like just autonomous people walking around riding bikes, playing with animals, maybe like if a court yard appears there could be a swing set that spawns, them chilling on their balcony reading a book. Them playing in the beach. 10/10 love everything about this.
Amazing. What would it take to make it VisionPro compatible?
This is so beautifully rendered and immersive it seems to me that it’s begging to come to VisionPro.
Even if it doesn’t get the full surround VisionPro experience (which would be mind blowing), what level of effort would be needed no just make the iPad version compatible?
Stress relieving and fun!
I can’t say enough about how much I love this game. 10’s across the board. I’ve spent hours building castles, cities, and countryside towns. My only wish is that they continue to build and add to this fantastic game. I’d love to see landscaping abilities like hills mountains and cliffs, and more and more details. I hope it’s not just a one and done!
This game slays!!(gen alpha talk)🤩🤩
I like this game but if they ever make a Townscaper two I think there should be like people who live in the town and I think there should be and options to put grass trees an animals sum like that. And also being able to afford this game as a child like me is awesome.
-and for the people that are reading this hopefully getting the game

Great, but it needs more
I wish there was a way to pick the grid pattern. Perhaps a seed system.
The addition of docks and beaches would also be sweet.
Also, not an addition, but some assets that seem to be light fixtures do not light up in the night mode.
Devs! You left something really cool out!
Hey! This is a really cool game, like my type of peaceful game!
But it’s missing something… hmm, OH ambience! Like ocean water and wind, maybe some seagulls screaming or little people chatting and walking around? (can only be heard when zoomed in close for people chatter or footstep sound)
Oh and maybe some cool tug boats or some baby boats! And add some rocks to the edge or docks for fishermen, yknow more immersive! Love the birds pretty awesome!
Great job on the game!
Great Game
Would pay serious money for more features, but nonetheless great app.
Awesome
I love it
Fun Artsy Game
This game is a perfect time waster, extremely fun to play and to build. I love the details. I wish there was more life to the city. I wish there were people going about their lives. Also would be cool if we had different types of buildings, not just homes. We could build little shopping districts and watch our little people go about their lives shopping and working. The opportunities are endless.
Great concept, lacking depth
This is a great concept for an app but I’m disappointed by the lack of depth. For a paid app I expected more variety in both the types of buildings that are generated as well as the art style. You could have all sorts of different towns - snowy village, desert, forest, etc. instead of just Mediterranean coast. Towns usually have more than houses - it would be great to have some different types of buildings. The app hasn’t been updated in a year so I don’t have high hopes, but it could be expanded upon with great success.
