No goal. No real gameplay. Just plenty of building and plenty of beauty. That's it.
Townscaper is an experimental passion project. More of a toy than a game. Pick colors from the palette, plop down colored blocks of house on the irregular grid, and watch Townscaper's underlying algorithm automatically turn those blocks into cute little houses, arches, stairways, bridges and lush backyards, depending on their configuration.

I love it
Fun Artsy Game
This game is a perfect time waster, extremely fun to play and to build. I love the details. I wish there was more life to the city. I wish there were people going about their lives. Also would be cool if we had different types of buildings, not just homes. We could build little shopping districts and watch our little people go about their lives shopping and working. The opportunities are endless.
Great concept, lacking depth
This is a great concept for an app but I’m disappointed by the lack of depth. For a paid app I expected more variety in both the types of buildings that are generated as well as the art style. You could have all sorts of different towns - snowy village, desert, forest, etc. instead of just Mediterranean coast. Towns usually have more than houses - it would be great to have some different types of buildings. The app hasn’t been updated in a year so I don’t have high hopes, but it could be expanded upon with great success.
No refund and boring game
Tried to get a refund after I realized there is no point to the game and was denied. Not really sure why as most other developers would offer this if I wasn’t happy. Game is boring I’d skip
Good just a few add ons
I really liked your game but can you add people walking around, and you can click on the people and see there name and there family tree, and also can you add more animals to the game to? Thank you!
Good but need some more detail
It would be nice if you added detail like being able to put tables places And stairs wherever you want or trimming for the house or to add rivers and being able to put roofs wherever you want instead of having to put different squares to change the roof but it’s a good game without this stuff
Love this
This is a wonderful game. There are little surprises here and there. I would, of course, enjoy even more variables such as being able o change the colors and value of the sky and water. More colors, changing grids and more building shapes. I mean, the possibilities are endless! Thanks for this. I thoroughly enjoy it!
Beautiful and calming.
I love that I can make up my own stories with this app. It’s fun to figure out how to build what’s in my imagination and not have to worry about a horde of warriors busting the whole thing up. I do wish there were a few more animals, but all in all, a great little app.

There should be a mode where you can walk around your town as a human!
