Lights reset
I don’t have complain with the app itself or the security camera. The light though are very poor quality. They reset ever so often. I have around 11 bulbs and every month 1 or 2 will reset or not follow commands so need to reconfigure.
Straightforward to use
Quite a simple and clear interface, no complicated buttons and easy to navigate. I bought smart plugs and this app is like a remote control for them. Happy to continue using them and buy more TP-Link products.
Update is not great
Love tapo. Have cameras, bulbs and switches. Since most recent update, it’s become slow, stuff sporadically shows off line and takes ages to access cameras. Despite resetting, no difference. What was once great is now average to poor.
disappointing
i have this app for my bedroom light but it constantly disconnects and i have to reconnect it but at the moment it’s not working so i am stuck with a purple room. it also disconnected me from my living room lights and haven’t been able to reconnect to them since. sort your app out

Wish there were more - need to control with watch!
Pretty much what the title says! I can control my other smart devices through other apps and companies via my Apple watch, I can’t for tapo. It’s annoying getting comfortable in bed, after putting my phone down, to realise I have left the lamp on in the living room. I use my watch for sleep tracking, I can turn on and off other devices through my watch whereas I can’t with any tapo device. To be able to do this, I would have to go through Alexa and we all know what a nightmare that can be.
