Disappointed
This app worked well but after the update is to slow to start and the layout is all over the place. The earlier versions from 1 year ago was better.

This app worked well but after the update is to slow to start and the layout is all over the place. The earlier versions from 1 year ago was better.
So easy to setup the NVR and cameras and then to link with the app. Much better than others I have used and way better value! I’m impressed.
The only thing I didn’t like about the app was that it filled the screen with the view and that distorted the view. The letterbox “true to scale” vision is what I wanted and what they provided.
Great cameras and NVR. App is very efficient and has so many features. Just got installed on April 25, 2025. Make it more cheaper so that many other people can get it.
The timeline being on top of the video makes everything so much harder to use!!! Change it back ASAP please. Also when moving the timeline, occasionally the time jumps back by an hour which it didn’t do in the older version with the timeline underneath the video
Mitchel is the “best of the best” he has “the right stuff “ great with first timers with a warm & Trusting attitude that gets My Vote for cooperation with this cooperation
Great App and easy to use
After opening my VIGI app I wanted to check my surveillance system but instead found a dogs breakfast of an app after an automatic update. Not only is the app less responsive and slower to retrieve recordings, the change from swiping left and right to change camera views the new update that scrubs through recordings is clunky. It is also hard to use PTZ features if you don’t hit the button very accurately you can end up scrubbing unintentionally through playbacks. The multiview section is also a step back as it’s very hard now to view all cameras in one screen. Order of cameras also changes constantly making it hard to get a grasp of where to click to get desired views quickly. This app has seemingly lowered itself the level of cheaper plug and play systems such as eufy, I would no longer consider this as a commercial product and highly disappointed that I have invested heavily into a system that has become less efficient and usable in an instant. A security app should be reliable and stable not a test platform for developers just to show they are making changes for the sake of showing they are doing something. It should managed and developed more carefully than something like a game or social media app as it’s what people are using to secure and protect their investments they want it to be accurate and reliable. The implementation of cheap superficial gimmick features and gestures is not appreciated by the type of users of this app.
VIGI was very quick to setup and proving reliable … better than other products I’ve used over the years
I’ve been using Vigi for some time to monitor a rural property 2.5 hours away. It’s a useful tool to make sure everything is safe. Great to see the views too. I’ve taken many photos and videos with it.
