TP-Link tpPLC app lets you conveniently view and manage your TP-Link powerline devices via your smart device.

Simply connect your smart device to the Wi-Fi network of a compatible TP-Link powerline extender and start managing with ease. It will list all the compatible powerline adapters and powerline extenders in your current network, and allow you to manage your powerline devices individually as well as the whole powerline network with a few taps.

Features
• Display information of all compatible powerline devices in the current network.
• Manage a powerline device such as changing its device name, turning on or off its LEDs, viewing its data rate, resetting to factory defaults, and removing it from the current network. For a powerline extender, you can also change and schedule its Wi-Fi settings, and redirect to the web management interface.
• Manage the whole powerline network such as adding a new powerline device, setting a new powerline network name, and turning on or off the LEDs on all the powerline devices in the network.

This does not support an older version of the wpa4220 I have as the version is 1.2 and this only supports from v2 onwards.

Worst APP ever

I lost countless hours trying to get this rubbish to see my power line adapter. Selling on EBay now & off to Draytek. bye

Doesn’t appear in settings…

First thing it says to do is give it location permissions, but there isn’t a tpPLC app in the settings panel in iOS. Tried searching iOS for it as well and no results.

Please get this utility working on other TP Link Power line adapters

I have some of the latest TP Link Power line adapter, but I do not get the version that includes Wireless and this is a conscious decision as I use the Deco Wireless Mesh product and the last thing I want is a lot more unnecessary Wirless signals around the place. I use the TP Link Poer line product in part to provide Deco Back haul channels and it is important to know how they are working…… and there is NO app to do this……amazing

Doesn’t work on new 1gb devices

Rubbish, doesn’t work

App is useless

Initially I when I brought the extender’s (TL-WPA7617) a few months ago the app sort of worked and could see the extenders and Powerline adapter but now everything is working fine but the app will not find the extenders or adapter and so the only way of altering anything is going in via the browser making the app completely useless. Does not show up in the iOS settings so nothing can be changed. Only place it does show up is under privacy and I have given it local network access in there and still nothing.

Not great

Bought this today £40 at Argos set it all up and no difference my video doorbell still saying weak signal so not happy waste of money and at this time of everything costing a fortune I’d wished I’d kept my money

No real options and not able to find a device within 3ft. Pretty useless

Doesn’t work iOS 15.7

My old iPad Air 1st edition battery died running last update iOS 12, not bad 9 years old. This app used to work on that although a bit hit and miss. I bought a new iPad 9th generation and really like it. All other apps have downloaded and work fine. This app downloads and then when opened asks to access local network. Click on settings and although the tpPLC app is on my Home Screen, even a search in settings reveals no sign of the app. Very confusing !! And therefore unusable.

Awful product / terrible support

App is useless as is the kit I bought. Neither work properly
