## TPTV Encore Reviews in United Kingdom

### ***** "Some great films and TV series"
Some great films and TV series - works much better with the Google 4k streamer. I have tried to add to a Samsung smart tv for years with poor success (very frustrating OS on Samsung), but the streamer works great. Get one!
-- imarriedthedj, 2026-08-14

### **--- "Too many adverts!"
We’re watching Z-Cars, and we have seen the same adverts 5 times! If we put the subtitles on, it seems to add an extra set of ads! I know we could pay, but we don’t mind one or two ad breaks but not 5!
-- SixtiesChild66, 2026-08-01

### *---- "App Completely Broken"
Unable to sign into the app, despite not changing any password or user details since I last signed in. The link to reset your password is also not working as it only comes up with “To reset your password please visit <url>” (so there is no link). Just these two instances makes the app a complete waste of time.
-- Bruce Ferguson, 2026-06-14

### *---- "App is busted!"
I’ve been a long term user of the app with no problems, it today it is asking me to sign in. When I do this it doesn’t recognise my details even though they are correct. I tried the ‘forgot password’ as well, but this is busted as it tells you to go to ‘url’ so no way of resetting the password!
-- Deep Space Nine, 2026-06-13

### **--- "Film filter missing"
There is no way to show films only (as opposed to TV shows). There is a dedicated TV series button, but none of films, nor any filter in browser or searching. We so much TV content, it’s getting more difficult to find films.
-- UK Chap, 2026-06-12

### *---- "Doesn’t Work"
Bloody awful app! Can’t sign in and can’t register for an account!
Just keeps telling me “oops! Something went wrong. Please try again “
-- darkwater1, 2026-06-11

### **--- "New version troubles"
Just updated the app, and I don’t like that it forces landscape view, and searches don’t render properly at all. I gave up and haven’t actually tried to watch anything.
-- bb.mm, 2026-06-10

### *---- "Picture in Picture"
After almost 3 years and the app still doesn’t support Picture in Picture. This means that I’m unable to do other things on my device whilst watching / listening content.

Will cancel my subscription until fixed since all other streaming apps offer this basic functionality.
-- Nick 1979, 2026-01-21

### **--- "Quite poor"
Ive been waiting for this App for a while and have just downloaded it. Unfortunately, it gets stuck on adverts (1 of 5!), so while the audio is related to the film you've chosen, the visual remains with the advert. I might try subscribing to see if its any better. Maybe that's the point ...
-- Shethecat, 2025-12-18

### **--- "Needs work on the APP"
8 months since the last update, requires more/some work as the APP freezes during adverts on startup.
