This mobile application is developed under the Coordinated Research Project (CRP) on Improved Assessment of Initial Alarms from Radiation Detection Instruments to enhance the capabilities of States to prevent, detect, and respond to incidents of the illicit trafficking and theft of nuclear and other radioactive material out of regulatory control and it covers the description of good containing Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) used in international trades and Harmonized System Code (HS Code) and serves as a guidance for member States in proper assessment of radiation instrument alarms to combat the trans-boundary movement of nuclear and other radioactive material out of regulatory control.
