The app works even when put in the background (i.e. when the home button was pressed). Latitude, longitude, speed, course (heading), altitude, total distance traveled in kilometres and miles and a date and time stamp are shown on a map overlay in real time. Waypoint pins are dropped on the map by a long touch and callouts by a regular touch on the pins. This action displays the point of interest entered previously in a text field and the distance traveled at the time the pin was dropped. A text field generates customized waypoint titles. The same text field together with a "Search" button serves as the input for searching locations. On the "Settings" view there are 6 accuracy modes and a switch control that turns background updates on or off. Also on the "Settings menu there is a switch control that can be used to turn an audio feedback signal on or off when a new location update is received. Detailed instructions are provided on a separate "Info" view. No account sign-up, log-in, or in-app purchases are necessary. Just install and run. This app may use your location even when it isn't open, which can decrease device battery life. ## Trace My Ways Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource116/v4/ce/d3/6b/ced36ba8-bf63-8013-dcdd-6094fa6d4274/9e6d7463-aef7-4362-b202-ac7a40879557_1.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource126/v4/29/44/08/2944087c-e9d7-2d3f-9bf1-6a9b0e689bf1/35b91a4e-4307-43af-8cc8-5079604ca511_2.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource126/v4/85/04/3e/85043ed6-83a0-1e7e-8364-15b8cbd721a0/c0bcf5f2-f380-41a4-a514-19ca28cb8524_3.png/1284x2778.png) ## Trace My Ways Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Paid | Egypt | Navigation | #202 | | Top Paid | South Africa | Navigation | #203 | ## Trace My Ways Discovered Keywords - trace my ways ## Apps Similar to Trace My Ways - [MAPS.ME: Offline Maps, GPS Nav](https://apptail.io/app/mapsme-offline-maps-gps-nav-wgc/australia) - [Footpath Route Planner](https://apptail.io/app/footpath-route-planner-zvd/australia) - [Topo Maps+: Topographic Maps](https://apptail.io/app/topo-maps-topographic-maps-cMd/australia) - [Mark O'Travel: Where I've Been](https://apptail.io/app/mark-otravel-where-ive-been-oTe/australia) - [JustFly: Cheap Flights](https://apptail.io/app/justfly-cheap-flights-tAj/australia) - [Detecht - Motorcycle App & GPS](https://apptail.io/app/detecht-motorcycle-app-gps-MFo/australia) - [Airalo: eSIM for travel & data](https://apptail.io/app/airalo-esim-for-travel-data-YGs/australia) - [New York City Travel Guide](https://apptail.io/app/new-york-city-travel-guide-rDI/australia) - [Four Seasons](https://apptail.io/app/four-seasons-GgQ/australia) - [Steller: Travel Planner App](https://apptail.io/app/steller-travel-planner-app-eOhj/australia) ## Trace My Ways Available In - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/trace-my-ways-vUck/australia) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/trace-my-ways-vUck/canada) - [Czechia](https://apptail.io/app/trace-my-ways-vUck/czechia) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/trace-my-ways-vUck/germany) - [Egypt](https://apptail.io/app/trace-my-ways-vUck/egypt) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/trace-my-ways-vUck/france) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/trace-my-ways-vUck/united-kingdom) - [Hong Kong SAR China](https://apptail.io/app/trace-my-ways-vUck/hong-kong) - [Kazakhstan](https://apptail.io/app/trace-my-ways-vUck/kazakhstan) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/trace-my-ways-vUck/norway) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/trace-my-ways-vUck/new-zealand) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/trace-my-ways-vUck/philippines) - [Uganda](https://apptail.io/app/trace-my-ways-vUck/uganda) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/trace-my-ways-vUck/united-states) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/trace-my-ways-vUck/south-africa) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
