Why on earth do we have to pay just to watch our own highlights now? It makes no sense whatsoever. I used to be able to watch my highlights with ease and without having to pay. Now, every time I want to watch highlights, when I’m logged in on my account, it tells me that I need to subscribe and says that I need to join the family. Why would I need to join my own family to watch my own highlights? That doesn’t even sound right. I’m logged into my own account, I click on myself for highlights, and you say I have to ask the player to join the family when I’m already in my own account. It’s a good app to analyze how you played and how you did but the fact that you have to pay is absurd.

I have both cameras and Veo is a much better camera, offering both a higher quality video and more in depth analytics. The recording does not always track the ball and often times lags on the play. The user interface is not very intuitive and does not offer many features. Ultimately a very basic camera and fails greatly in comparison to Veo. I think Veo is cheaper too!

Let me start with the fact that if you have a game at 3pm and you set up at 2:30 it doesn’t place a hold, it will start recording since that time and then you get a email complaining for start recording in advance. The recent updates are horrible, now you must have a membership to watch the game, or if there is a way to send to a friend we can’t figure that out anymore. It used to be extremely simple. Also I feel like an IT person every game I have to upload. I use to connect and download and no problem, but lately it’s always asking to push the update. Not uploading correctly and not uploading when plugged. I am not an expert, but I am savvy and handle technology ok. Also I am a manager in all academy teams and I can’t watch the games for my children let alone the other teams. It only allows me to do that using the login were my boys are. I had to add my family email and work email for the app to work. That was recent. I used to brag about TRACE but no more. Customer service it’s good, but all via email and I feel like every day I am writing and sometimes I can’t even get it solved.

This app is awesome! I would give it 5 stars if they wouldn’t have removed smartcast. It was nice to watch the full game in your tv but for some reason they removed it recently. Please bring it back!

The app is very disappointing. Anytime you want to do anything it just opens a browser and redirects you to the website, which never stays logged in so every single time you have to go through their 2 factor login process. I’m the team owner and coach, I can’t even adjust my roster or anything in the app. What’s the point of the app? Just to run the camera. STOP MAKING ME LOG IN ANYTIME I NEED TO DO SOMETHING!! PROVIDE AN OPTION TO STAY LOGGED IN. I miss VEO already.

For the price of the camera and subscription , please invest in friendly guidance for how to connect and set up the camera, it doesn’t work Thanks!

The idea on have AI clip highlights is great. And let me say the customer service staff attempts to be helpful. However, after having this for a full season what I have found is: (1) The actual video quality isn’t great (2) The app is not very intuitive/user-friendly (3) The AI constantly miss tags players (4) Upload time to actually getting access to your video can be extremely long, particularly on the weekend when apparently they must have a lot of videos to process. In the end, everyone on our team that I convinced to get the app went back to another tool before end of season. We are going to do the same.

GPS didn’t work indoors and new AI is terrible. It misidentifies players 50% of the time so we have to watch and clip ourselves anyway. Editing feature is even worse…what a waste of our money. Avoid and go to another platform.

First off, I work in technology and have for close to 20 years. I say this so you’ll understand that I’m not a person who has zero technical skills when reading this review. We have 2 kids of different ages on 2 different teams, both use Trace. App design is really weird. You login to the app but the app is basically useless. if you want to watch games you are redirected to the web browser. In the web browser it’s hard to zoom in and out because that’s not what a web browser was really designed to do. Now I help set up the camera for games and have additional permissions. I’m now seeing that the app’s true purpose is this function. But now that I help setup/run the cameras for my older son, I can no longer see my younger son’s games. I have to switch back and forth between different emails to login to view games or wait for emails to come out and click on links in them (which is hard to find emails from weeks/months ago). The camera technology is great but they did not put much effort into the usability for parents/family members. It’s just an extremely painful process to view games. You should probably skip paying the fees until they fix the viewing experience.

You pay less than 10$ a month for the camera and as a kid that uses this device it has made myself much more confident with the ball at my feet I love seeing myself score dribble defend it makes me want to play more I think every soccer kid should get this😁, 5 STARS!!!
