Record your journeys, upload GPX traces directly to OpenStreetMap, and help improve the world's free map. KEY FEATURES - Record GPX Traces: Capture your GPS tracks with distance-based or time-based recording methods. - Direct OSM Upload: Seamlessly upload your traces to OpenStreetMap with one tap. - Add & Edit POIs: Place new points of interest on the map or edit tags on existing OSM nodes and polygons, with a live tag preview as you edit. - Brand & Place Search: Find businesses and places by name using the Name Suggestion Index (NSI) and apply the matching OSM tags automatically. - Multiple Map Styles: Choose from Carto Vector, Topo Vector, Topo Raster, OSM Raster, and Thunderforest Transport. - Live Dashboard: View real-time speed, elevation, GPS accuracy, and recording stats on-screen. - Public Traces: Browse public GPS traces from other OpenStreetMap contributors in your area. - Metric & Imperial Units: Switch between km/m and mi/ft in settings. - Exclusion Zones: Set locations where GPS recording is automatically paused for privacy. - Background Recording: Keep recording even when the app is in the background. - Cloud Sync: Sync your trace data across devices. - Multilingual: Available in English, French, German, Dutch, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. TracesMap is built for the OpenStreetMap community. Log in with your OSM account to start recording traces and editing POIs that help mappers worldwide. Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. ## Tracesmap Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/54/0e/e7/540ee7c7-a8d9-2fe6-7466-266137fe5739/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-07-18_at_18.22.16.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/2b/af/00/2baf0020-86b0-b86d-0d8f-58205c704e56/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-07-18_at_17.53.57.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/96/d8/03/96d80307-52ec-2d8e-e20c-e045feb3cf92/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-07-18_at_18.17.03.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/db/0d/9d/db0d9d02-7159-a645-1a6b-019689c0ede1/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-07-18_at_18.21.40.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/a3/7c/2e/a37c2ec3-bf4e-e4bf-79ce-dc5232a205f2/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-07-18_at_18.23.11.png/1320x2868.png) ## Tracesmap Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 1 (100%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## Apps Similar to Tracesmap - [Lambert](https://apptail.io/app/lambert-PPWd/united-states) - [Is It Snappy?](https://apptail.io/app/is-it-snappy-CChj/united-states) - [Earthquake Alert Map](https://apptail.io/app/earthquake-alert-map-DbBn/united-states) - [Carlo - Car Management](https://apptail.io/app/carlo-car-management-dwhp/united-states) - [kWhPrice EU](https://apptail.io/app/kwhprice-eu-vmwq/united-states) - [Coffeehouse Network Advisor](https://apptail.io/app/coffeehouse-network-advisor-cDPt/united-states) - [FRKN](https://apptail.io/app/frkn-Alhv/united-states) - [Lagrange Smallnet Browser](https://apptail.io/app/lagrange-smallnet-browser-DQSy/united-states) - [Morse Code: Offline Chat](https://apptail.io/app/morse-code-offline-chat-ZZSy/united-states) - [Alpha GPS: Camera Geotagging](https://apptail.io/app/alpha-gps-camera-geotagging-ttJz/united-states) ## Tracesmap Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/united-states) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/germany) - [Estonia](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/estonia) - [Finland](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/finland) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/united-kingdom) - [Grenada](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/grenada) - [Indonesia](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/indonesia) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/ireland) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/japan) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/australia) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/norway) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/new-zealand) - [Poland](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/poland) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/russia) - [Sweden](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/sweden) - [Slovenia](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/slovenia) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/turkey) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/tracesmap-rfez/south-korea) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
