## trafficpilot Description
trafficpilot bietet eine Turn-by-Turn-Navigation mit integriertem Grüne-Welle-Assistenten. 

Die Navigation basiert auf den umfassenden OpenStreetMap-Karten und unterstützt die schrittweise Navigation zum gewünschten Ziel im Auto- oder Rad-Modus, mit 3D-Karte und Navigationsanweisungen im Bild und als Sprachausgabe. Auf dem Handy stehen neben der 3D-Karte auch eine 2D-Übersichtskarte und ein Prognose-Modus zur Verfügung, der ausschließlich die Grüne-Welle-Assistenz für die nächste Ampel anzeigt.

Die Grüne-Welle-Assistenz erkennt in unterstützen Gebieten anhand GPS-Ortung und integrierter Kartendaten, auf welche Ampel sich der Fahrer zubewegt und gibt an, ob die Ampel bei der aktuellen Geschwindigkeit bei Grün oder Rot erreicht wird. Ein Rot-Grün-Teppich visualisiert diese Information: Ein grüner Bereich bedeutet freie Fahrt, ein roter signalisiert einen wahrscheinlichen Stopp. Anhand der Farbeinteilung auf dem Handybildschirm kann man einschätzen, ob man seine Fahrgeschwindigkeit möglicherweise anpassen sollte, um die Ampel bei Grün zu passieren.

Hilfreich ist auch die „Time-To-Green“-Anzeige: Steht man an einer roten Ampel, zeigt die App die verbleibende Zeit bis zur nächsten Grünphase an. Eine Sprachausgabe informiert einige Sekunden vor dem Umschalten – ein Feature, das nicht nur den Fahrkomfort erhöht, sondern auch die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Straße lenkt.

Die CarPlay-Integration ermöglicht die Anzeige der Navigation und der Grüne-Welle-Assistenz (GLOSA) im Fahrzeug-Display.

Seit Wochen heißt es Wartungsarbeiten. Und immer wenn die beendet sein soll, steht ein neues Datum da bis wann die Wartungsarbeiten noch laufen.

Wann funktioniert diese App endlich mal wieder?

Leider ohne CarPlay Unterstützung und ohne Smartphone-Halterung für mich sehr umständlich zu verwenden. Sobald CarPlay nachgereicht wird, könnte ich mir vorstellen die App in meiner Stadt deutlich häufiger während der Fahrt offen zu haben 🙂 Die Sprachausgabe ist für mich keine Option, hat nach erstem Test aber auch nicht richtig funktioniert, da die Sätze nach 2 oder 3 Wörtern unterbrochen und nicht zu Ende gesprochen werden.

### ***-- "Super Idee, aber nicht verbreitet"
Würde gerne diese App ausprobieren und sehen wie akkurat diese ist. Leider wohne ich in Berlin und die App ist daher in der Hauptstadt nicht verfügbar. Warum auch immer die App nicht dort verbreitet ist, wo es viele Einwohner gibt :( Ich liebe es einfach wie alle als erster bei den roten Ampel stehen wollen und nicht Degressive einfach Fahren! Ich komme oft im 2 Gang an und kann direkt weiterfahren. Außerdem bin ich damit dann sogar schneller als die anderen. Mit dieser App erhoffe ich mir einen geringeren Spritverbrauch und einen noch bessere Umweltbewusstere Fahrweise!!!

Die zwei Sterne extra gibt es wenn es mit Apple Car Play funktionieren würde und es mehr verbreitet wäre und dann auch einbandfrei läuft!!!

### ****- "Letzte Schritte zur Nutzbarkeit"
Gerade außerhalb der Rushhour erweist sich das System als genial. Leider ist die Datenbasis außer der Stoßzeiten oftmals zu klein für eine Prognose an allen Ampeln. Innerhalb der Rushhour allerdings kommt man durch Rückstau viel zu früh zum Stehen, was den nutzen der App funktioniert. Dennoch lässt die App einen mit viel mehr Ruhe durch den Stadtverkehr fahren. Was dringend fehlt, ist eine Integration in CarPlay.

Update 17.01.24: Leider ist dem nicht so (Entwicklerantwort). Ich habe das neuste Update, trotzdem funktioniert die Sprachausgabe richtig.

Die Vorhersage, wann welche Ampel grün wird, funktioniert in Kassel zu 95%. Die Sprachausgabe funktioniert leider nicht mehr richtig. Der 2. Teil vom Satz wird immer abgeschnitten. Z.B.: „Grün in 3“ wird angesagt, statt „Grün in 3 Sekunden für geradeaus“. Früher hat das mal funktioniert. Die Sprachausgabe wird auch nicht von einer anderen App unterbrochen.
