## TrailMix Pro Description
TrailMix is a unique combination of three powerful tools: a running cadence tracker, a step-synchronized music player, and a metronome. It’s an all-in-one app that includes tools to check your running cadence, change the tempo of any song in your library to match your stride, and play a beat to help guide you to the perfect cadence. The Pro version features Magic Shuffle with intelligent tuning modes, the Average Cadence stats module, and a customizable cadence range.

• While you’re walking, jogging, or running, the cadence tracker detects the speed you are moving at, in steps per minute.
• TrailMix is the music lover’s choice: the original step-synchronized music player, it can increase or decrease the tempo of any song without distortion, and it works with your existing music library.
• The metronome is state-of-the-art, with physically modeled drums, a subtle reverb effect, and evolving musical chords.

◢◤ FEATURES ◥◣
• A cadence monitor displays your current steps per minute.
• Easily increase or decrease the tempo of music or a metronome to help pace your run.
• Synchronize your music to match your cadence.
• Works at any speed: walk, run, sprint, or stroll.
• Play songs from your existing music library.
• Superb audio quality and no “chipmunk” effect.
• Switch between automatic and manual cadence.
• Beautifully crafted, incredibly intuitive interface.
• Built-in pedometer & timer functions.
• Health app integration for steps and workouts.
• Compatible with Apple Music.

◢◤ PRO FEATURES ◥◣
• Magic Shuffle finds songs close to your cadence.
• TrailMix Pro also includes three customizable tuning modes for Magic Shuffle.
• The stats screen displays “Average Cadence” information.
• Customizable cadence range with Standard (80–180 BPM) and Extended (40–240 BPM) presets, plus a fully custom range option.

The Magic Shuffle feature picks the right song for your current cadence whenever you go to the next track. Customize Magic Shuffle to match your workout style with three unique tuning modes. The best match option picks the song closest to your stride rate, variety mode adds a bit of randomness, and tempo boost aims for tracks slightly below your cadence and speeds them up.

◢◤ RUN WITH MUSIC ◥◣
For downloaded songs that you have purchased or imported, the app features automatic beat detection that works on-device. TrailMix works with all the music on your device, in any musical genre, not just traditional workout songs. Our advanced recognition engine “listens” to the music to sync the perfect tempo. Accurate and efficient, it detects the beat of any song within seconds. For other songs, such as those streaming from Apple Music, just tap along to the tempo to manually set the BPM.

TrailMix can detect your steps and make the song faster or slower to match your cadence, returning to the song’s actual speed in an instant when you stop moving.

TrailMix also lets you set the playback tempo and lock in a song, or even an entire playlist, at a particular speed. This constant tempo functionality is perfect for runners who want to lock in a consistent stride rate, such as 180 beats per minute.

▪ Play any song, and its beats mirror your feet.

◢◤ UPGRADE YOUR WORKOUT ◥◣
According to scientific research, “synchronizing movements with music enables athletes to perform more efficiently, resulting in greater endurance.” (Karageorghis & Priest, 2008, The Sport Journal). Automatic cadence detection works anywhere, from the trail to the treadmill.

▪ Research suggests that moving to the rhythm can help your body perform more efficiently — so you can go further with less effort.

____________________________________________

AUDIO COMPATIBILITY: Works with all standard audio files (MP3, ALAC, AIFF, WAV, and AAC). TrailMix does not include full-length songs.

## TrailMix Pro Reviews in United States

### *---- "Can’t get tempo to hold, unintuitive"
Every time I set the tempo, it resets at the start of the next song. Wish there was a tutorial, I’m putting in for refund because if I have to stop every song and change it back then what’s the point
-- paralax51, 2023-10-21

### ***-- "Amazing app but is it dead?"
How do I get this to work with Apple Music? Used to love it back in the day but now I use Apple Music and this app doesn’t work
-- revive this app, 2020-07-26

### *---- "Waste of money"
Doesn’t work with Apple Music due to DRM. I feel so stupid now.
-- Michele.MD, 2019-03-29

### ***** "BEST FITNESS APP EVER"
If you like to walk or run for exercise, and you love your music--get this app now!! It is so motivating to have my favorite music in perfect rhythm with my pace. It automatically adjusts when I switch from walking to running. It would even work with cycling since you can set it to a specific beats per minute. I use this app more than any of the other jogging apps, and I use it to play music in conjunction with other apps like Couch 2 5K and Runkeeper. The music and vocals sound great--no distortion. This app is just outstanding! It helped me find the motivation to start jogging and train for my first 5k. LOVE the new updates. You should get Trail Mix!
-- I am SO not a runner!, 2018-05-25

### ***** "Doesn't work well"
It did, but then I bought the pro and I couldn't play songs that I haven't purchased and downloaded to my playlist through Apple radio, so I have no use for this app now.
-- Txgrunt20, 2017-07-24

### ***** "One of my favorite apps"
I've been using this for years and would hate to be without it. It's gotten me through training for two half marathons. Make sure you set it to "magic shuffle" to get a playlist based on your current pace. The stats at the end are helpful.
-- CraftyMoni, 2017-06-27

### ***-- "Lots of crashes on IOS 10.1.1"
I usually have the app running on a particular pace, but it tends to crash periodically during my run. I see it hasn't been updated since 2015. Are there any plans to put out an update for the new IOS? Is this a dead product?
-- TickedInNC, 2016-11-07

### ***** "Simple, Yet Affective!"
Awesome app for any kind of runner that likes listening to music.

Factors:
It's Simple; does exactly what it says it does.
no more.

import your songs into it, and hit shuffle. Music speeds up the beat to your pace.

Love it!
-- Orocco, 2016-09-16

### ***** "Just incredible!"
I was looking for something like this and it far exceeded my expectations! I am always running and try to hit the ground in sync with the music. This adjusts to me not the other way around. This truly makes running and walking fun again and something to look forward to! Download this! You will be incredibly happy! Possibly the best app I've purchased since 2007!
-- Don salice, 2016-05-29

### ***** "Addicting"
I use this regularly now along with MapMyRun (which deals with distance), runs are definitely easier.
