Stop Complaining

People are giving this app one star because it does what it says it will do. It says that it tracks the location of the train (or car or bus or pogo stick) you are on and that’s what it does. It doesn’t identify trains passing by and it doesn’t say that it does. So stop giving it one star because it doesn’t do what you wanted it to do. It was free, right? So just delete it and try to find one that does what you want. That said, it’s a pretty lame app. It’s purely a GPS tracker that tells you where you are, your speed, and your elevation. The location function (map) just covers a couple of hundred meters so it’s like looking through a keyhole, and it can’t be adjusted. At least it should have a pinch function so that you can better understand your location. It cost almost nothing to develop, and it’s main function I would think is to sell ads. I’d better quit. I started off giving this app four stars and now I’m down to two like many other people. The “train” part is kind of deceptive and it just seems to be a vehicle to sell ads.

If i could give this 0 stars I would

this is not a “Trainspotting Tool,” it does what it says in the description, but in no way actually tracks trains, unless you’re on one, so is of little to no use to people who spot trains. makes no sense. there are plenty of other apps that do what this does, and leagues better. plus, full of obtrusive full-screen ads. trash

This app is to track your train as you ride it. This is clearly stated in the description. It does that. Provides speed, altitude, and an easy to reference map so you can see where you are at.

Doesn’t track trains.

Doesn’t track trains

This app claims to track trains but only tracks your location and it presumes your on the train. This app for me and other trainspotters has no use. Although does good on tracking your location, but still doesn’t track trains. So if you are trying to track your location, knock your socks off. But if you are a trainspotter this app has no use.

NOT a "Train Tracker"

This app only tracks your location (and a train, assuming that you are aboard it) This app is of NO help to trainspotters.
