No notice of train cancellation!
We arrived at the train station at 8 AM for our 9:18 train. We could not find our train on the departures board so we went to the ticket counter. Only then were we informed that our train had been cancelled a couple of weeks ago for track repairs. Not only did we not get a notice of this cancellation from Trainline, but the Trainline app was showing that our tickets were still active. After three trains and a bus, we finally made it to Venice from Siena around 5 PM (3.5 hours later than expected, causing us to miss one of our reservations). Furthermore, when I tried to look for a contact email to communicate with Trainline, I could not find one. Trainline might be great when everything goes smoothly, but when I needed help with my train cancellation, it was impossible to communicate with a human being. Consequently, we have not been refunded or compensated for our train interruption and delay.

Lifesaver
Such a great app. SplitSave has saved me a lot of £££ over the past few months. Not being able to add your railcard to the app doesn’t bother me because you can still get the discount and you just need to show a different app to the person checking the tickets. The only suggestion I have would be adding a feature that allows you to tap on a disruption banner to be taken to the National Rail website to see the details.

Charged me twice and didn’t send me the ticket
I booked a bus for today and never received my ticket. They also charged me twice, the ticket shows with an amount of 23 euros, but the charge was of 70 Canadian dollars. I requested a refund and they offer 15 euros. Ridiculous!
App not user friendly
I tried looking for trains in Greece but the app kept saying “not available” there should be a list of countries before it’s downloaded.
Easy to use
Used this for recent trip to Spain. Booked multiple trips for two, no problems. Simple to do, and to have tickets accessible. Will use for future trips.
