Very dissatisfied of Hampshire… I had to rapidly book a 05:13 train to central london for a medical reason. I was under the impression it would slip easily into my Apple wallet…. No the incredibly annoying impersonal system said “collect your tickets at any station”. I’ll be dead on my feet and in a hurry, I just wanted it to sit in my apple wallet. WHY ISN’T THAT THE DEFAULT OPTION.

The app gave me one option to go to bath spa and when i got on the train i was the journey i have is not valid. It was only via salisbury but the app said im going through basinstoke which is much more expensive and longer. Its cost me more money to use this useless app and i risk getting fined for taking the incorrect route.

Telling people you can get travel insurance for an extra fee where you will get a full refund… this is a SCAM, when you click on the insurance policy the page has an “error” (unsurprisingly) and you in fact DO NOT get your money back and cannot change the time of your travel. Pathetic way of squeezing more money out of people. Do better!

It took only seconds to pay and the transaction was ready for us to collect our tickets as quickly as the payment. You have also the option to get e-tickets but as we are three people it’s more practical for us to print the tickets .

Booked train ticket and seats should be reserved. Didn’t happened and people who booked online through the LNER website were sitting in our seats. 
This app/company has one job to do and it’s to sell tickets and reserve seats. They failed miserably!

me and my friends wanted a nice day out to york but no. The train was cancelled now this would have been fine if i was alerted as soon as the train was cancelled but i wasnt me and my friends walked 30 minutes in the cold to the train station then saw at the station that it was cancelled and i only get £6 for the refund even though i paid £12 for the ticket. absolutely terrible

This app used to be so easy to use to plan journeys in advance. Someone must have decided they know better and decided to put their stamp on the app by redesigning the journey planner. It’s so unusable, as someone who works in the mobile app industry I find it incredibly frustrating to use. Did you even conduct any user testing to see if the new design is user friendly?

App showing train times and no note of ‘no service’ or any warning at all anywhere on the app. Paid for ticket and turned up at the station learning there’s no train at all. I then tried to process a refund and get charged £5 of that refund, and asked me to then post the paper ticket in which i have to pay for the postage (they suggested tracked too). Granted the total lost would only be about £7.20 should I not do anything, it’s the principal that I would spend more trying to refund the damn thing. This is considering that the app/company failed to provide adequate information and essentially incorrectly selling a service which was none existent on that day.

### *---- "Awful recent updates for Searching times"
Have always loved the Trainline app for its ease of use and simplicity, but the recent updates are frustrating. I catch trains everyday and now I can only see a limited number of recently searched journeys. I can no longer click on a recently searched journey and adjust the day/time before results come up. It shows me the next immediate trains, but what if I’m looking for later that day or even tomorrow for that route? There is literally no point in even having recent searches anymore, I have to now search a journey from scratch to see future train times for that journey. For a normal journey search, clicking the arrows to reverse the journey in the other direction is so fiddly as the arrows are so close to the right edge of the screen sometimes I can’t press it in the right place to respond. Does nobody properly test or review new Product features before putting them out at Trainline anymore? These are the worst updates ever.
