TRAKTOR DJ 2 is a DJ app without barriers; it’s free, SoundCloud Go+ integration means you have access to an endless track collection, and TRAKTOR’s song recommendations help you choose which one to play next. STAY IN SYNC Throw on a couple of tracks, and TRAKTOR DJ 2 keeps them on-time and in-tune. Because everything’s on-beat, you’ll have plenty of time to start mixing things up. SOUNDCLOUD GO+ From chart toppers and guilty pleasures, to underground edits and bootleg bangers, SoundCloud GO+ integration means TRAKTOR DJ 2 packs a record bag that’s got it all. All your likes and playlists are available right in the app – just drag and drop any track you want into a deck and spin away. SHAPE YOUR SOUND Adjust the sound of your mix with EQs and a filter on each channel – this means you can cut the bass of one track, for example, and blend in only the vocals and higher frequencies for a smooth and creative mix. Effects let you manipulate your sound and twist up your tracks when things start getting groovy. FREEZE MODE: REAL-TIME REMIXING Hit the snowflake icon on TRAKTOR DJ 2 for iPad to freeze the waveform. The track will carry on playing, but you can tap directly onto the frozen section to play it like an instrument. It’s great for chopping up vocals, or for dissecting interesting drum beats to make them your own. MADE FOR TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 MK3 is our take-anywhere DJ controller. It is truly a fantastic app. I am finally able to access the tools I’ve wanted to play around with for so long. Easy, simple, and also robust. I have had to delete the app now twice and, unbeknownst to me on the first go around, also deleted my beloved hotques. Why?! Now I am no longer able to access SoundCloud as the login buttons are unresponsive…so the app is subsequently rendered useless. I’m certain an update is in order with a “a patch to fix bugs”. Thanks for a genuinely liberating app experience. Please repair this app by 1: allow the hotcue buttons to be open at the same time as the jog wheel and the tempo slider, 2: Allow the track lists and playlists to be open while the track audio is visible and running above. We need to be able to see all at once. 3: Allow the filters and low / mid / high knobs to be visiable at the same time. Give us the gater, delay, reverb and filter, and let us be able to use them at the same time on the program at once. 4: Please. Finally, create a way where we can import our pre-exsiting playlists, cues and loops from the old program to this new one. Which is a shame, because it works really well with the included songs. Works with older Traktor controllers and Audio DJ2. but not the X1.. it could be the best way to DJ and get away from a computer screen and just play music, but instead I'll be dragging my laptop to gigs like a pleb.
