## Trane BAS Operator Description
Check your building’s HVAC system to see the status, make adjustments, respond to hot/cold calls quickly and get more done in your day.
The Tracer BAS Operator works with the Trane building automation system controller: Tracer SC version 3.6 and higher. The BAS Operator is fully integrated with Tracer SC – just log in to view your building!
The Trane BAS Operator Features:
Manage Alarms
• See the active and historic alarms in your system, their severity and what generated the alarms.
• Acknowledge new alarms and add comments for others to see
• Keep the alarm log tidy with the delete alarm functionality
View Status
• See what’s happening in spaces, with equipment and entire systems.
• Built-in graphics for easy to read status, at a glance, including animations.
Take Action
• Respond to hot/cold calls by adjusting setpoints, overriding equipment and occupancy.

A feature of BAS Operator is it remembers the connection information for your connected devices. This is very helpful! However, when Updating to a new version, do not Un-install (or delete) the old version. Doing so will erase the device connection data.

## Trane BAS Operator Reviews in United States

### *---- "Can’t add connections at all"
The app won’t even let me add Trane connect devices
-- Darlensti, 2025-12-05

### *---- "Can get it to verify"
Downloaded app made sure phone is updated, credentials are right. Try to login in and verify and just get blue ring of death. Something isn’t right
-- erack88, 2025-11-20

### *---- "Broken app"
Can’t even log in to remote access, shows blank screen when trying to add a device.
-- digiloguemix, 2025-07-03

### *---- "Doesn’t work"
App worked ok for an extended period until March ‘25 when they pushed a new update. Now I can no longer login. And even worse, the local Trane guy had basically given up and cannot help me either. What a joke.
-- thompaa00, 2025-04-23

### *---- "Not working"
Pulls me to some web site to sign in.
-- Workers not so well, 2025-01-17

### *---- "Clunky and hassle to login"
Can only change values on a few things. Very slow to load. Hassle to login, sends you to a secondary website to login every time you open up the app. This could use a lot of improvement!

-- Tinner49, 2024-05-05

### ***-- "Where’s the “back” button?!"
How is there no “back” button? Forces me to start back from top of navigation tree and loses my place. Overall app works and provides value (not being tied down to computer) but needs a major refresh to meet consumer expectations for a mobile app in the year 2023.
-- Bik3rb, 2023-01-25

### *---- "iPhone"
Won’t connect to iPhone or iPad 😩
-- jp67894, 2022-12-20

### ***-- "Works but glitches"
The app works but once you disconnect site, you no longer can see the device list… you have to exit the program and then go back in. There are other glitches that I experience as I go through it, just not enough time to write about them.
-- Bcontrols, 2021-11-23

### *---- "Non intuitive"
There should be definitions under little “I” next to each category so you know what you are doing when selecting a change. With a number of users everyone needs to be on the same page. It shouldn’t take hours of trainings for a seldom user to bump the temp up for a hour.
-- Roget'sThesaurus, 2020-10-31
