## Trans4motor S Description
Trans4motor S（トランスフォーモーターS）は、エンジン・シミュレータのレシプロ航空機版です。 ライト兄弟の直列4気筒から、航空機特有な星型、倒立V型、W型、H型まで様々な4ストロークエンジンをiPad/iPhone上で動作させることができます。
航空機、クルマやバイクのエンジンに関心がある方、内燃機関を愛してやまない方、より理解を深めたい方などにお勧めします。栄光のレシプロ航空機エンジンの発達を追体験なさってください。





特徴1：シームレスなエンジン形式の変形
星型からV型からへ、V型から倒立V型へなど、エンジンが駆動した状態で、連続的なアニメーションで変形して行きます。
ピストン、コンロッド、カムや、バルブに至るまで様々なパーツが、回転、分離、合体したりと、様々なエンジン形状への変化が楽しめます。


特徴2：エンジンサウンドとスロットル操作
革新的なエンジン音合成技術（SDL法）によるエンジン音アプリ「RealEngineSim」のサウンドデザインラボ社に再び技術協力を頂き、航空機向けエンジン音合成を新造。
気筒数の変化は、もちろん、空冷と液冷の差異や、プロペラの回転による干渉音など、リアルかつ迫力あるエンジンサウンドを再現しました。
また、本格的な航空エンジン物理モデル（エンジン発生トルクや、プロペラの直径や枚数による空気抵抗によるエンジン回転抵抗などを毎時計算）も実装。
リアルなスロット操作も体感してください。


特徴3：カットモデル・モード
空冷フィンやクランクケースを、リアルタイムで縦横自在にカットして、エンジン動作状態のまま内部を観察することができます。


特徴4：エンジン始動・モード
スターターハンドルを手動で回して、慣性始動機の回転を上げて、クラッチをコンタクト！という一連のエンジン始動手順を、仮想体験できるモードです。


特徴5：機銃・モード
零戦搭載の栄エンジンの 九七式七粍七固定機銃 や、bf 109搭載のDB601エンジンの MG 151/20 を試射できるモードです。
スーパースローで、プロペラ同調の仕組みも学べます。


特徴6：エンジンの追加拡張
プリセット登録の航空機エンジンは、現在、8種類。
直列4気筒から、7, 14, 18気筒の星型エンジンに、航空機特有なH型やW型、そして、V型に、倒立V型と様々なエンジンを、iPad/iPhone上で自在に再現できます。
また、ユーザー自身によるエンジンスペックの新規登録や編集機能も搭載。
エンジンのボア、ストローク、気筒数と星型の列数(3x1〜9x2)、プロペラ直径や枚数などが設定が可能です。


特徴7：インタラクティブ動画
・4ストロークエンジンの原理
・カムと歯車
・航空機銃と機関砲
・スリーブバルブ
などを説明した４本の操作可能なインタラクティブ動画が収録されています。


今後の機能追加予定
・R-4360 Wasp Major/ワスプ・メジャー(空冷星型28気筒) 近日追加予定
・HDR(360°背景画像)の読込、追加機能


エンジンのCGアニメーションは、仕組みを学習する上で、また、演出上から、実際の1/10の速度で回転しています。
このアプリは、一般公開されているエンジンスペックから、学習する上での再現をしており、実際の機械の寸法や意匠を忠実に模したものではありません。

星形エンジンのカットモデルで吸気圧縮爆発排気を舐め回すように見られる機会なんて現実ではほぼありませんからね
それだけでも素晴らしい体験なのですが、Sabreエンジンのスリーブバルブの構造解説を見てビックリしました
「気筒の内側が動く」っていうアイデアを思いついて実際に作っちゃった当時の技術者に狂気を感じます
そんなエンジンの構造をじっくりと見ることができますよ！
