What is the point of this if you can’t buy a ticket for more than one person. Not user friendly at all.

I would say one of the worst app for public transport . Keeps logging me out for no reasons and the bus drivers harass you when u are helpless in front of them that app crashed. They embarrass you and make you pay again in the bus which is adding insult to injury. Please take into consideration of this and also give some training to bus drivers about the app issues and asking them for some assistance and empathy towards passengers.

Cannot reset my password on the new app because I don’t receive the reset email. I’ve checked everywhere including spam but nothing found. As a result the app is useless to me. This is standard functionality in public transport apps, it should just work. Follow up: I discovered that if you reset your password in the old app, you will receive the email and after using it to create a new password you can use that to login to the new app.

Started to use Translink more recently getting in and out to Belfast and thought I’d give the app a try, went to reset my password as I must have my email and phone number already associated with the company from previous years but apparently need the old version of the app to request the password change, which I have no access to as only the current version is available on the App Store?🤷

Logs you out randomly so if you’re at the bus stop and pull the app up when the bus arrives it’s hit and Miss on whether or not you’ll be signed in and be able to use your tickets. Bus drivers also say they can’t let you on without seeing the app so forget it if you’re in a rush.

The myriad of problems with this app have cost me a lot of money as connecting a ylink card is near impossible and I travel by bus every day

if i could give it a negative review, i would. you cant seem to buy tickets within the app anymore. i dont know what genius came up with that idea, but its a bad idea. the only reason i open the app is to buy a ticket. i will just be driving where i need to go.

When I go to select the route I would like to purchase the app closes down and crashes. Very inconvenient especially now that Translink has a state of the art new station and now this ‘new’ app. Very disappointing. I have tried redownloading etc but nothing seams to work.

Used the old mLink app for years, then it stopped working and I can’t log in, chose forgot password and it never sends me the link to reset it - can’t create a new account because my email and phone number are associated with my old account. Can’t use app at all now.

App now fails to remember the last route booked so if you commute, tough. You’re going to find the stations in the list manually every time.
Now we have 2 ticket pages, one with QR, one without. Which one to use? Random staff choose random pages. Could you not have tried to fit 2 things in 1 page? Also if on QR page and close the app it leaves the phone in max-brightness mode. Cheers. Well checked. 

And if asked for your ticket in a mobile data blackspot, enjoy the message over the QR code and the confused ticket inspector trying to read it.

Also clicking Journey Planner leads to the AppStore page even when the Journey Planner app is installed. 

Oh yes. And WHY can’t I buy an off-peak ticket before leaving the house in the morning? It’s valid for TRAVEL between certain times. Not purchase. Muppets. 

Let me guess - you couldn’t afford a QA team with all the money spaffed in a huge station.

With the new train station. There is no barcode to get through the gates in the grand central station and if a staff member isn’t there to let you though you literally can’t leave. Absolutely useless now

Continually signs me out of the app when I’m in offline mode so I can’t access my tickets. This app is far worse than the last app and needs fixing especially since if I’m in a position without data I would have no way of accessing a ticket I bought.

I need to use the train to get to school every morning and ever since this new app came out it’s been very hard . There has been malfunction after malfunction and I have been told multiple times that I have the wrong ticket when in fact I know I purchased the right . Honestly I can speak for everyone when I say we would prefer the old one back.
