This app seems to be completely useless. It adds about 1 useful feature compared to the older translink app. The via feature, which bearly works in the first place, having to set silly filters in order for the trip you want to show up (that’s if it does at all). The app has frequent errors that the only solution is to restart the app. This app even removes the feature of being able to set exact start and end addresses. I search an address and it doesn’t show up, I use the my current location feature and it sets the address to somewhere 400m away from me. App can’t even be used to navigate me from QUT campus to roma street then beyond. Only way to really use the app is to have your start and end address be exact station or stop names. All this has me asking, what even was the point in creating this app? Seems like they just abandoned it as some of my complaints have been said the day the app came out. I get they made the app to implement live location of services feature, but that was already half in the old app. The developers should put in a small amount of work to bring this app up to being one of the best state transport apps. -- woost0, 2025-03-19 ### ****- "A bit laggy" It’s a good app, however can sometimes be a bit laggy. Clearly the app is NOT tracking all “real time data”, it’s tracking buses that should’ve left within the window that you are looking for but isn’t counting the delays the buses experience. This is really getting tiresome, given the excellent GPS info, AI tech and tracking devices available to us now. Cannot find timetables. Real time planning ok but many of us plan journeys by scanning timetable stop times. Finding stops nearby seems to overwhelm the common logic of service lookup. Why on earth do you put colour behind route numbers - eg the pink under bus - there is already a pink icon to show it’s a bus but the route number is not readable at all making it useless; just leave them on the white background -- Hammer in Oz, 2024-09-09 ### ***-- "Looks like a sports car, drives like a tank" This app is visually a great improvement from the old but the information is fiction. TransLink please do better, this time do some user research and focus on user experience through the design. -- Dwb_dwb_dwb, 2024-08-28 ### ***-- "A fresh start but…" Some feedback to start you off on Day 1 of this app’s release: Home tab: Nearby Stops module is a map view, but it doesn’t let you resize the zoom view. This is ok when you are in a area with a few stops/services around you but practically useless in an area with heaps of stops/services (eg middle of the Queen St Mall) since all the markers basically are on top each other. Tapping the map takes you to a big map of course which you can zoom in to (with lag) but if i had the zoom level adjusted to my preference in the first place then i wouldn’t have to tap at all. Plan tab: need a Clear All (or Reset) button to clear both the Start and Destination fields at the same time. It is mildly annoying to see my previous search terms in those fields when trying to work out where to go from and to Other: Is there a way to mark a particular service/route as a favourite? I don’t mean a stop or a saved plan, but an actual bus number for instance. eg from a particular stop I might prefer taking bus ABC because it almost always has a seat for me at the time I catch it rather than bus XYZ which is almost always standing room only when it arrives at the same platform. In the old app I could choose to display only my saved favourite bus routes so I could easily see when my desired bus was coming without having to search for it specifically -- Falling through the blue, 2024-08-28 ### ***** "Best real-time app for commuters" This app is absolute necessity. Its very straightforward and easy to check schedules.
