Needs improvements
It’s really clunky navigating the app, it needs some serious updates to make it more functional and up to date with technology. However the bus tracking is a helpful feature (when it’s working correctly).
Doesn’t work
Network request failed searching for the 280 bus route.
Behind the times
How is it that in this day and age, a transport pass takes days if not weeks to update where you’ve travelled. Do better.
Login doesn’t work
Everything about the app is mediocre but I can’t log in anymore. Every time I try it says “email or password incorrect” even after I’ve reset my password multiple times. Please fix this bug, I just want to see how much money I have in my SmartRider before I get on the bus.
not accurate
me and my friend were waiting at the bus stop and i checked the app (7minutes till it arrives) we see a young child fall of his bike,so we go over to help because we have time. the next thing you know 15 seconds later the bus drove past. REALLY NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS!!!!! fix you stupid app 👎👎👎not the first time this has happened aswell...
Transperth App
Downloaded this morning and both the journey planner and the bus stop location tools are not working. Only good thing about the app is that you can track your smartrider funds.

When you want to auto-load your card you need to wait 24h. Seriously in the 21st century??? Stupid! So if you don't have time you need to pay in cash to the bus driver who doesn't have a change!!! Really?!! Absolutely disappointed with this system. I lived 6 years in Sydney. Used opal app and never had problem with this!!!
It's actually useless
Live tracking is basically a lie. It doesn't work when the buses are behind schedule (which is almost always) and the user interface is unintuitive. Would give zero stars if I could.
Worst customer service
I had a conversation with two ladies at transperth customer support and they were too rude to me regarding my disabled card. Both showed same attitude towards me for a silly problem.
