Give & get free stuff in your local area (including Freegle groups and other free stuff groups).

With Trash Nothing, it's easy to give away your unwanted but reusable items to people in your local community and find freebies that other people are giving away.  Everything is always free with no strings attached.

Everything works through local, volunteer run communities and not every city or town has an active community yet.  The most active communities have members like you who help grow their community by telling their friends and family.

Here a just a few of the things you can find (& give away) for free:

It's easy to use, simply post what you have to give away and request things that you want and other members of the community will contact you if they can help.

Another free site full of fake freeloaders want something nothing take take take all the time to advantage a hard class working people want something for nothing and abuse people and have no intentions of taking the stuff wasting peoples time and hard-working people when they sit on social media all day long begging for free stuff and rude and abusive in return absolute shocking sitefull of fake freeloaders. I want something for nothing and they’re not even harmless. Something is pretending for charities to make the self look big and they don’t put the hand in their own pocket.

Great idea of a site but run by over petty moderators and for the wrong reasons. Ie knives are happy accepted to be give away and they say it’s up-to the person to check the other person’s age (smh) other sites like eBay just ban knives, full stop, it’s that easy. Also doing things for charities are also band! Charities…really. What sort of site is this?

Love this app! Only comment would be that the photo taking facility could work a little better when using photos from the phone’s library (works better if you take photos directly within the app).

I Have tried repeatedly to sign in to my old account 
I’ve tried making. A new account 
I’ve tried different email addresses 
I’ve tried signing in with Google 
I’ve also tried to Sign in with Apple creating a new account
It won’t let me sign in with any of the options 
It won’t let me create a new account 
Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the app I’ve tried accessing through the website 
I really used to love using this app to giveaway things or to receive them
But now I cannot access this service 
And I don’t know why 
Ive checked my spam folders 
I’ve emailed customer support but they never reply

The idea is absolutely brilliant but unfortunately it’s incredibly frustrating as the messaging part is so unreliable, I received message about items I have or want but they don’t ever receive my messages back. So I get my hopes up for collecting a item but I never actually get anything as I am unable to converse with the person. Really gutted as I have miss a fair few good items that I needed.

### ****- "Does well at removing the annoyances of Freecycle and Freegle - some small bugs/quirks"
I love the idea of Freecycle and Freegle and their websites are just awful to manage replies on - and not mobile friendly - this solves the main problems of the sites - and aggregates really well - being able to post on multiple forums quickly is a major win!

There’s a few quirks/bugs - none stop me using it - just have to think my way around the problems (like message replying being less than smooth), photos being a bit janky at times

There's a problem on this app with users donating the items and not bothering with marking it as taken or delisting it. A lot of items are already gone but still showing as available days, weeks, sometimes months later. Most messages sent go unanswered or are a waste of time due to receiving a "sorry, it's gone now" when the item was posted ages ago. It feels like some users take pleasure in keeping items listed and telling users it's gone, over and over, without delisting it. This needs to be sorted. Users posting must be forced to mark item as taken for good or have their account temporarily de-activated if they don't update the status of their listings after a few days.

This used to be a great service, but freeloaders just grab anything that is decent from kind people.
Many dont respond when you enquire.
I used to respond to every single person, with a kind response

Its so much easier and far less grief to dump it

I have given so much away, but wont bother anymore, and will just take it down the dump, not before I smash it up, as the refuse on,y collect it and sell it in eBay

The Admins really arn't great at all and have forgotten why they are there
I have met 1 kind respectful Admin, who helped.

It’s really annoying that this app will send you over 30 emails a day and I can’t even close it because there is no way to close my search alert!!!! I’m so frustrated by that.

Trash Nothing was and seemed to be a good way to give unwanted things away.

 Or maybe grab yourself some interesting bits and bobs. 

Sadly this app has more fake profiles than Facebook & these problem profiles post things for free but never reply. 

It’s common decency to reply when receiving a message from people. But the moderators think it’s great fun to make frustrated people that little bit more upset. 

Such contempt from anyone on this app to not reply with a simple message either it’s taken of I’ve not decided who to gift the item to.
