The best

The best travel app. The other one works but this one is magic

Too much going on

This app needs to be cleaner for me, but it’s still better than Wanderlog, which is everything everywhere, Wanderlog is basically the equivalent of messy piles of paper on your desk and no, you really don’t know where anything is, it’s just a stress inducing guessing game, not an organized mess, just a mess. I prefer TripIt because it files things neatly under each day. With a clear, simple and clean scroll through of each day, not pictures, adds, and stuff all over the place. Notes, photos, documents, etc., can be added right underneath the activity. It also uploads the info from my email more accurately.

Love it but needs features

I hope you can add a feature to use hashtags for better organization and customization, as well as the ability to edit existing categories and add new ones.

Pricey and useless

DrWarface on

Can’t even use most of the apps features without paying for get this… another subscription model which again is a joke. Also you can literally use the notes app or any other note app which does the same thing for free without a subscription.

Pretty Good App Except For Flight Tracking

crichton007 on

I really like how this app allows me to put all of my travel arrangements in one place and even save related documents with the activities the documents relate to. I do take issue with how poorly this app handles delayed flights or changes to an existing itinerary. I had one flight that was delayed by hours and it never even seemed to notice (I did contact support about that and never received a reply). I have another flight where the same thing happened and, again, there are issues getting the updated information into Tripsy. This time around it eventually updated to show the delay but I had no way of updating the new connecting flight. I think there is utility in the app but I want potential users to be aware that it is not very good at tracking flights if that is an important element of functionality.

Love it but needs features

Best planning app! I'm using it to plan my trip to Japan in November, and I hope that we can get these features before my trip. I'd love to filter or reorder by distance from my current location or by city area. Customizing names, colors, and icons of each category per trip, adding emojis, changing the color and style of pins on maps, and creating my own customizable categories would be great. It also needs an option to stick to either Apple or Google Maps for iOS users who prefer Google Maps.

Exactly what I needed to organize and share trip itineraries. Easy to import and auto populate reservations.

Syncing

WSHFORIT on

United States

Syncing is a real problem with the laptop app and the phone app. I have an email into the company to help.

Expenses

This app misses expenses feature that can be added to where you visit.
