## Trekaroo Family Travel Reviews in United States

### *---- "Seemed like a cool app"
However there are so many adds you can’t even get to the login/sign up button. Google will just have to do as far as finding things to do while traveling.
-- Mandaroek, 2026-02-18

### *---- "Defunct"
I should have checked the last update date before downloading. It’s just ads now and should be removed from the store. Bummer, since I really would love a kid-centric travel app that highlights quality activities.
-- Interactiver, 2024-04-10

### *---- "What's the point?"
Use the Trekaroo web site a lot, so I thought maybe the app might be useful. Never got past the login screen. Why on earth would they force you to create an account to use an app to access the same content that's available through their web site without needing an account? Dumb.
-- Stubby351, 2017-02-25

### *---- "Interesting idea but not date specific"
Basically this app gives you a list (or map) of local area events. Unfortunately it doesn't distinguish events by date and so lists all events that ever happened in a given location vs actually providing detail on what's on now. So if you want to know that Seattle has a tree lighting ceremony in December (when it's now January) then this app is for you... Renders the app largely useless for its stated purpose.

### ***** "So helpful for families who travel"
We love this app and use it all the time to find family friendly things to do and places to stay. I also love that I can write my own reviews and help out other families.
-- stewygirl78, 2016-09-22

### ***** "Great Ideas for Traveling Families"
Trekaroo is a great resource for families on the road. It's easy to locate kid-friendly activities with tips on age appropriateness from parents in the know.
-- DCTravelMom, 2016-09-21

### ***** "Quick and easy travel tips with kids"
This app makes finding kid-friendly activities easy to find. I've used it on the go to find playgrounds, great restaurants, pit stops on road trips, and more. The updated guides feature helps me find groups of ideas such as things to do in Laguna Beach.
I've used Trekaroo for years and this app is a significant improvement and is great for parents!
-- HewronVeil, 2016-09-21

### ***** "Every parent should download this app!"
Love the personalized guides feature. I can plan a trip using the reviewed activities, restaurants, and hotels and access my trip guide from my phone. Love how easy it is to get advice from other parents using the Trekaroo app. Sharing my great finds was also super easy.
-- skulldawg, 2016-09-21

### ***** "Loaded with activities"
I was impressed with how many activities and reviews were in my own local area. The kids and I will be putting this app to good use.
-- Rick Tomabo, 2016-09-18

### ***** "Just tried it and like it!"
Works pretty well. Not sure why it doesn't get many downloads or updates because this app passes with flying colors.
