Good afternoon! I am writing this to express my opinion about how TRENITALIA disrespects their customers by never notifying their customers about planned strikes. I bought ticket from Milan to Varenna on 16th of June. When I arrived in station, I saw that my train was cancelled. There were so many people and employees couldn’t handle with them. First of all because their English level was very poor. No one told us about strikes, not on billboards, not on app. People were coming and buying tickets to trains which weren’t meant to go. How unprofessional could their service could go any deeper? To my questions about refund or compensation, they only said that I need to submit the form. More than 2 weeks passed and nothing came. I never wish to take this train again. The worst train system ever if not in Europe,in the whole world. Thank you for scam! -- m.spaabek, 2024-07-02 ### *---- "Impossible to purchase a ticket" Actually the app is fine only to check the timetables. Poor usability. If you buy ticket in the machine you just do that, in here company wants everything- names, last names, birthdates. Then it comes to the payment method. Apple Pay, credit card - nothing is work. Right before writing a review I’ve tried to buy a tickets and tried Apple Pay with two different cards and card payment with another two cards. I get charged for every operation - and ended with the failures.
