Bad experience with this app. Told you have to return the vehicle as long the fuel light didn’t turn on, I return the vehicle with a lot more fuel in the tank just not full tank and was fine with not returning vehicle with full tank. I wound not recommend this app

I was told to pump the petrol to 1/4 and i did but the fuel meter didnt went up and i later found out when i park the car was leaking oil and i told them about it and even send a picture they didnt reply me or what and they charge me $38 for returning the car with fuel light indicator on. What a useless and horrible car sharing app email dont want reply and hotline is not even useful

It was my first time using TribeCar and the experience was horrible. They don't care about customer experiences and only profits. There is hidden late fees, which is $10.90 for every 15 minutes!! Something they are not openly stating. They have confusing car fuel policies. One moment is 1/4 tank full, another moment is as long as reserve fuel light is not on. As a new driver, how would you know what a reserve fuel light is (there was another light that suggested "bring your car to the fuel station" and even my friend is an experienced driver thought that was the fuel light). The light (that looks like a car with an arrow to a fuel pump) was blinking and since I saw the thank below 1/4 full, I assumed that that was the fuel light. Since I thought the fuel light was on, I kept pumping fuel because the previous hirer left me with HALF A BAR of fuel (which they said is okay .-. they accept dangerously low levels...) And because of that, I spend $40 on a 1 hour drive. After a week-long of emails, I was told that that was not the reserve fuel light. I saw another review from a year ago here stating they had the same problem with the false blinking fuel light!! They have not improved their system and is purposely leaving out information to milk you out of your money. I heard many horror stories of them forcing you to pay thousands for small scratches. So unless you are ridiculously rich (which.. just go get your own car), DO NOT use TribeCar.

(Hygienic) The car are all clean for once ;) GetXx often so dirty & scratches all over . (Safety) TC uses phone to unload doors unlike competitors use app to start car too. SO dangerous as app fails means stranded in the middle of highway! (Service) Appreciate there’s hotline to call for issues although u can still go by app/email to save time Pricing ok but there’s more can be done for app / promotions

Required assistance and help was prompt. Referred to Live agent for an emergency issue. Resolved well. Thankful to have live agent contact.

Rather easy to book and collect car with wide varieties and easy access locations. Cars are mostly well maintained and Tribecar do bring in new cars too.

Been a user of the tribecar app since it was first introduce and so far my experience using it was alright but I feel it could be better if Tribecar implement some of these features that their rival had. 1) One thing that set Tribecar app apart from its rival is they don’t have the option to book a booking at the 15 min mark. (Example: I want to start my booking at 9.15am but I can only book at 9am so it’s a bit of a inconvenience same goes for 9.30am or 9.45am) I understand that user have the option to start their booking 15-30 mins early depending it the car it’s at it’s home lot but I feel it would be more convenient if we as user can book at the 15 min mark. 2) Replace the stock image of the vehicle on the list view with the exact vehicle rather than saying it’s this car or similar as some user prefer to see the car in the list view rather than map view as it’s more easier to see plus navigate thru the app on what vehicle it’s rather than figuring out what vehicle they are renting. 3) The last request I had for the app is in regards to point 2 which would be to include the car registration plate on it that way it’s easier for user to see the condition of the car reported by the user who has previously rented it and they can judge the condition based the condition it was in rather than finding out the car condition on the exact day itself. Overall I hope Tribecar can implement at least one of my request for the app and slowly more this can be a user friendly experience.

Been a user of Tribecar for a couple of years and it has been a pleasant and fuss-free experience thus far. Selection of vehicles are extensive and caters to my needs. Would recommend to others!
