Trimble Connect is a project collaboration platform built for construction industry. Project stakeholders can easily share, comment on, and manage the project documents, photos, drawings, and 3D models through the cloud across the design, build, and operate phases of a project. Not working
I got a iPad 13 pro m4, already up to date to the last version and it doesn’t work, please I need it for work , please again
Black screen
I also have a problem when I touch the screen my iPad goes black. The phone version works perfectly. I have used this app for years and it’s helped me a ton
Black Screen
Finally got the May 15 update so we an orbit and zoom. Now whenever you bump/use the screen, the model screen immediately goes black and is unusable. I cannot find other IFCzip viewer apps, so when this one doesn’t work, we can’t use it on the job site whatsoever! Please fix and make sure it still works with all the models of iPad. Each update excludes a different model (we have old and new ipads).
IFC Files won’t zoom or orbit!
Our foremen use this app every day to erect structural steel. The fact that the app isn’t working the last 3 weeks has thrown a wrench in the way we do things. Please fix this quickly!
IFC Models won’t zoom on IPad version
Until about 2 weeks ago, ifc models would zoom in using the IPad version of the app. Now this no longer works unless using orthographic mode. I’ve tested this on 3 different current generation IPads and they all do the same thing. Interestingly, the model will zoom on the IPhone version. Really need this to be fixed so our field crews can view connections. Thanks!
Great! With some issues
All of my Sketchup design work is done on my laptop. The original iPhone app was perfect to show my work to others. The fact that I had to publish every version of my work on 3D Warehouse was a pain and filled the service up with unfinished junk. Trimble’s Connect resolves both issues. I ONLY ONE ISSUE LEFT: Perhaps this was developed with the new Sketchup for iPad in mind. Unfortunately, on my iPhone Pro any dimensions I make are so small they’re unreadable. Zooming within the app does nothing so I have to use Apple’s 3 tap zoom that more often than not sends me somewhere else. Unless I’ve missed it, a simple “Text Size” setting would allow me to give this 5 stars.
Awesome app, huge bug!
There’s an issue with the app not being able to upload photos from the ‘photos’ app on the iOS operating system. Whenever you try to upload from the photo gallery in the “To Do” section, the app crashes. All other form of attachments work, and you can also take photos. This started since Apple updated to have the choice to select what photos an app can use, but even if you allow the App to have full access (“All Photos” option in settings), the app still crashes. Otherwise this app is fantastic.
Unusable
I can't open any of my .skp files. When I try to download them in the app I get the error message "download failed. Viewer data processing failed".
