## Trimlight Edge Reviews in United States

### *---- "Horrible app"
This app is complete garbage. Not user friendly at all. Sometimes the lights go on, sometimes not. Why are they flashing all of a sudden for no reason? No idea! How come one strip is on and blinking and the others are off? Is the timer on? Why did I program it for steady one color and now they are flashing several? No answers to all this. Is it an app issue or hardware issue? No idea! Spent a lot of money and am sorely disappointed. Which stinks because when they work properly, the lights look amazing. But steer clear of Trimlight.

### *---- "App is as bad as their Customer Service"
App is a basic app that needs major overhaul but what’s terrible is their overall customer service. Our lights have not worked for about 6 months. After numerous calls and emails, still cannot actually talk to anyone. Adding a review for the App to warn others to stay away from Trimlight.
-- MadCK05, 2025-08-09

### *---- "App is frozen"
Not sure if there’s been a recent update, but after my app connects to my Trimlight unit and shows the configuration screen, the screen is frozen and won’t respond. I’ve killed the app and restarted as well as rebooted my phone. The app is still frozen.
-- zibberfitchy, 2025-07-25

### *---- "Garbage"
Doesn’t work half the time. We have tried resetting it, unplugging, app update. It won’t synch to the lights 99% of the time and we can’t turn them off or change the colors
-- Sarahhhhhhjeffrey, 2025-07-07

### *---- "Wow!"
This app was written by a technically illiterate moron. Until there is a reasonable app, DO NOT buy these lights!!!
-- Russ iCloud, 2025-06-16

### *---- "Great when it works…fails to connect to app way too often for the price!"
Time to time when I try to use the app I get the “Failed to connect” error message. Usually I can tap the + or - button a few times and then the app will work. Been unable to connect for a week now. Tried all of the trouble shooting suggestions and nothing works. UNACCEPTABLE!
-- xxldawg, 2025-05-30

### *---- "Timer mode"
The app no longer allows me to enter timer mode on exit. Why did that change?
-- DadKDude, 2025-05-29

### ***** "Seems like the best app among competitors"
I’ve now used Trimlight and two of their competitors products between my house, my in-law’s house and a buddy’s bar. I’m probably a bit biased because I have the Trimlight system, but it is so much more convenient to use than the other two.
-- bbuehne, 2025-05-22

### ***** "Great app"
User friendly and I love everything about my lights!
-- Connerjames1, 2025-05-19

### *---- "Excellent product, but horrible App"
Love the lights, and the installation and the local support.
However, unlike they say in their own description, the app is not intuitive at all! They set up two zones for us and set up a group to sync the whole house, but the syncing process does not work at all. It is unfortunate that you have to watch a whole series of multiple tutorial videos to make it function right. Unfortunately, due to our busy schedule we have not had time to watch the videos.
In summary, the product is great, but is very expensive and you would think that they would make the app more intuitive. It could be improved dramatically!!
