Have been using trip for a long time. Recently the new feature “smart” automated check-in for flights is supposed to be helpful, but does more harm than good as lousy seats are selected, which unfortunately cannot be changed as boarding pass has been created. Yet Trip does not allow users who prefer to check in themselves to disable this function permanently. Do review this, as it is really frustrating.

Didn’t know even solve the problem and yet keep pushing to the airline itself and told the customer service about the issue but cant even understand his English.
If it’s not user friendly, you don’t find the app being used more often nor the promos being snapped up quickly

it is a very unpleasant experience with your app that will technically change the booking date after entering to the next page. This glitches has caused me S$400 for the ticket change and processing fees. I chosed SG-Melbourne on 1st May 2024, however I did not notice that your system amended the date to 5th May 2024. I just realised this after few hours later. This is very bad experience. Upon realised, immediately I called your agent to assist on this matter and in fact your staff amended my son flight ticket from Melbourne - SG from 11May 2024 to SG-Melbourne 1st May 2024. How ridiculous is all of the experience I had been with Trip.com. Even all your operator is not well-trained and obviously with lot of languages barrier. No more Trip.com. Remind those who continue to use, to double and triple check on every pages when you book your itinerary. Or else you will get trapped. Second episode! This is the worst experience that I ever have with a flight booking agency!! Stupid company and customer service that book a family with different booking reference! This caused a lot of problem to me while check in. Because there is 2 booking number hence all the item have to split into two baggage. Instead of having 21kg for 3 persons. I will need to put 14kg and 7kg. The worst thing that I have ever do in my life is to book thru Trip.com!!!!!
