Trip.com is by far the worst service/agency I ever have experienced. Neither the employees nor the managers are able to credit simple reward points / my money to my account. Do never think they will help you in time if you have to change a flight because for the easiest thing they need three days and beside empty promises nothing happens. Therefore avoid even visiting the site and do never ever book anything over this platform.

Très mauvaise expérience avec Trip.com : en arrivant à Nong Khiaw, Laos : impossible de joindre le guesthouse réservé Accès uniquement par bateau - non précisé dans la réservation. Aucun numéro ne répondait, et Trip.com n’offre aucun support client international efficace : pas de chat en direct, pas de messagerie via WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram ou Line. Dans ce cas d’urgence, nous étions complètement seuls. Nous avons dû chercher un autre logement en catastrophe, et avons perdu deux réservations prépayées et non remboursableS. Inacceptable pour une plateforme de cette taille.

They booked from Expedia and then resell it to me
We booked our tickets through Trip.com and missed our connecting flight due to a delay and extremely poor support on their part. Despite their so-called service guarantee, we never received any refund or compensation. Their agent failed to give us timely instructions, and we were sent back and forth between airlines while Trip.com refused to take any responsibility. I repeatedly asked for help, was transferred between more than 10 agents, and had to explain the same situation again and again. Several promised to call back — none ever did. In the end, we had to buy new tickets ourselves and cover hotel, transport, and food expenses — all while dealing with the stress of traveling with an elderly parent. Why create an app if there’s absolutely no real service behind it when something goes wrong? Instead of helping, they only made the situation worse.
