Great functionality
Love the app for live activities that shows gate and check in desks for my flight - really handy to have rather than relying on airport websites or physical screens inside. Proven to be quite accurate too which is crucial for my trips! Competitive pricing helps a lot too, if I’m not looking for a lot of addons to my flight or hotel booking I’d usually go with Trip.com over any other option.

Ticket
I bought a ticket 2 weeks ago. When I arrived at the airport today, they said there was no such ticket. I contacted the agency and waited from 3 am to 9 am and they did not help in any way. Anyone with a brain would not buy anything from this company.

Great communication
Recently used trip.com for a trip from Asia to Europe. The app is so easy to use with constant updates of flight status and tickets issued directly. Communication was the most responsive I’ve ever had while travelling. All fees and purchase's are upfront and very clear. Brilliant customer service will definitely be using again.

No refund even if a medical emergency (surgery)
Be very careful when booking with trip.com. Me and my wife were due to fly to the Philippines for 10 days. But unfortunately I had a medical emergency and had to go through surgery a week before our departure date . And was unable to fly on the dates booked unfortunately. I told trip.com of my surgery and provided them with everything they asked for. Medical certificates, invoices, passport photos, they even asked me for proof of my relationship with my wife. So I sent them my wedding certificate. And as I am a resident of Vietnam and my wedding was in Vietnam, my wedding certificate is in Vietnamese. But our names are clearly on it. And if you google translate the 3 words on the top of the wedding certificates it say, “ Certificate Of Marriage “. But trip.com told me my wedding certificates needs to be translated for them to except it . I explained that I am recovering from surgery and bed bound and to have an official government certificate like this to be translated could weeks. But they said they won’t except it. The funny think is, I booked the flights on my app and they are using any excuse not to refund me and my wife. I even sent them pictures of our wedding day with dates on them. It’s sad to say that even in a medical emergency trip.com will not refund your tickets.
