Dont use Trip. They try to earn money if we change flight, they give many reasons then giving fees as buying new ticker. F service
Technical issue?? Terrible customer’s experience
I checked the flight I wanted (at 9am) for almost 2 weeks and waited until the sale day to apply the discount voucher and buy the ticket. Before applying the discount code, I had already selected the flight I wanted on the app and waited in the payment section for about 5 minutes for the discount code to be announced and take effect. I was sure I did not choose the wrong flight because I looked carefully at the flight time and ticket price before entering the payment step, but after I paid, the ticket returned to me was a different ticket with a completely different flight time and this affected my entire plan. I contacted customer service and the answer I received after almost 1 day was that I had logged out and selected another flight. This is so unreasonable and unacceptable because I confirmed 3 times before paying that I had selected the 9am flight, I was just waiting to pay. How could I have seen it wrong? The time system in my country is 24 hours and not AM and PM, so there is no way I could have miítaken 9 and 21? Now I have to pay more to change to the flight I want, more than the discount code I applied? Am I crazy enough to apply the discount code and then lose money by making a silly mistake of choosing the wrong flight? If you don't want me to apply the discount code, block it, don't try to scam me like that by giving me a discount code and then giving me the wrong flight!
