Tropical Merge

I have played this game for over a year and it was great. Something was changed by developers recently that is tanking my rating. I paid for “No Ads” and am now being forced to watch 30-second ads on selected moves. The ads freeze after 1 second and the only way to get the timer going again is to close down and restart Tropical Merge and relaunch it again … and with the ad refreezing every 1-2 seconds, it takes 15-25 “relaunches” to get out of the Loop. My chosen identity (not a generic IOS number) has disappeared and been re-assigned an “IOS identity.” This new identity is never granted any points during the multiple competition so, so much for trying to accrue bonuses for playing the game well. Please don’t tell me to contact Customer Support - I have submitted several issues and never received one response. This game is delightful, but only download if you are willing to be caught in a long Ad Loop or willing to play for pleasure.

I’ve been playing for about a month now and I am in love with this game. It has a much better feel to it than other merge games that I’ve played. It’s very calming and very relaxing. Perfect to play right before bed. I do have one small issue. There’s been times where I’ve accidentally merged four items instead of five. It would be great if you could add some kind of warning or confirmation request when merging 4 or more items. What I mean is there has been a few times where I was saving four items to merge when I get a fifth. But while organizing my items I would accidentally hover over said four items and merge them by accident using only three of the items and losing the chance to gain a bonus item by merging five at once. On other merge games I have played they had a on/off toggle option that would allow you to turn on merge confirmations for all of your merges before doing them. That way when it’s turned on it will warn you that a merge (of any size three or more) is going to happen and you can choose to confirm it or back out of it. This prevents accidental merges of three items when you’re trying to save for five. Aside from this small issue I absolutely LOVE this game.

Clearly, I enjoy the game. 😊 I play most days and I have it installed on multiple devices so it gets a lot of game time. Some of the crafting times can seem really long, but I have to sleep some time and that’s when I start the longer ones. I tend to hoard chests and I’ve discovered some super profitable squares that reliably produce good results so I’ve amassed a decent amount of rubies and coins and an absurd number of blue tokens…

There are other games with the same concept that are much better. Too many items that have very little value are forced upon you. You cannot sell or remove them. Take up 15 or 20 spots and once you get to max level you are forced to watch a commercial for a useless item. They have multiple types of objects that combined, can end up taking 40 or 50 spots. Now you cant play the main part of the game because of it. Overall the idea is great. Allow me to remove any object i dont want, the game would be playable.

I love on my PC but it won’t up my progress on the app.

This is a great game only problem is that when I get halfway through level 8 and stop playing for a while and start playing again it’s blank nothing there and I’ve had no way of saving the game. I’ve restarted the game 3 times and every time I get to the same point it locks up and just shows a white screen. This is all in one week. So now it’s time to find a new game by a different company have fun

Love this game but for the past month when you play then leave the game and you come back to play I t goes white won’t let you in unless you delete game then reinstall…. I have also had this game freeze when I was playing…. Very frustrating please fix these problems…..

I can’t access my original review so I am inputting a new one, if I can get to it at another time I’ll update that as well or delete it. I had lost all progress on the island in my game, and I hadn’t heard for Support. Well, the Support team did reach out to me and, while they weren’t able to restore my island, they did give me a generous amount of tools that will allow me to rebuild. I’m very happy with the resolution. The game itself is quite enjoyable, it’s a great way to spend time when you want to just relax and take your mind off things. The storyline is fun and it’s not as difficult to progress as other games are if you choose not to spend coins. It did take quite a while to get issue resolved, and I would normally knock off a star for that. However, based on when the emails hit my inbox, I’m guessing that they may be in a part of the world that has a lot of other things to worry about right now.

I would have given this game 5 stars since I started playing-up until this last update (9/23). Why on earth would you change the time frame of 30 energy-available by watching a video-from 3 hrs to 22 HOURS?? Energy isn’t plentiful as it is & that 30 energy every 3 hrs really helped out…this is in addition to the energy lottery every 3 hrs, which is still available, however, isn’t guaranteed to provide a lot unless you are lucky every once in awhile. RADIOS ??? What happened to them? I’ve only received 1 the day of the update- but NONE since then. I sent a msg to cust serv about this approx a week ago but have not received any reply (??). CARROTS - How many useless carrots do you think we need? I currently have 1049 of them & can provide a screenshot. None of the characters request them (except 1 -maybe twice a week). Yet, they are given in far more excess than any other produce in balloons, pouches, cinema & submarine. Dragon Game - The structure of this game is much better than the last, however, problems still exist in my opinion. I processed a dragon house for an hour, 2 at the same time. They both started to process, as I wasn’t able to process anything else. But, I noticed after 15 min that only 1 of them was actually in process & had to start it again. Also there have been several times that an item which needs to be processed doesn’t have a hammer bubble next to it (this is in both games). I have missed processing several items due to this. For the Dragon Game, there are so many territories to clear & not as many Ruby only ones as usual (which is great), but I can’t see how anyone can possibly clear all of them, or a lot of them in the 18 days time period available! I would love to have this 2nd game available for much longer. Now for the Dragon Game competition piece. I personally preferred the prior competitions where we were ranked according to how much we processed/cleared in an hours time. Now with the Snails, we are only able to participate in the competition if we have land to clear. It can take DAYS for that to be an option, which means we cannot compete at all during that time…unless we purchase the Snail Quarters for 49 rubies. A lot of people are not able to do this, unfortunately, so this is the primary reason I do not like this strategy. I have purchased the Snail Quarters several times in the past, but had many issues with what I received. I had questioned this previously w CS regarding the discrepancies in what I received for
