Invite the people you're traveling with by the address they use for iCloud, and choose who can edit and who can only look. Everyone sees the same days and cards; your packing, documents and expenses stay yours.

-- ADD ANYTHING IN SECONDS --
Start typing and Trovelo searches Apple Maps, your saved places and its own picks at once. Or write it the way you'd say it: "ramen at Ichiran 7pm ¥1200" becomes a card with the time, the price and the kind already filled in. Paste a list, a Maps link or a whole itinerary and Trovelo spreads it across your days. Hold the map to drop a pin anywhere.

46 kinds of card, each in its own color: flights with connections, trains, buses, cruises, car rentals, event tickets, hikes, wineries, beaches and more. Your stay becomes a key card with the check-in time and the door code. Each day tells you if it's an easy day, a busy one, or too full, and how you'll get between stops: walking, driving or public transit.

Your next stop lives on the Lock Screen: what you're doing, how long is left and what comes next, with the door code ready at the end of the day. The home screen widget shows today's plan and the countdown. Weather tells you what your dates are usually like months ahead, then switches to the live forecast as the trip gets close.

-- PACKING THAT KNOWS WHERE YOU'RE GOING --
A packing list for every trip, sorted by category, that opens with the trip's own brief: the weather you're packing for and the plugs you'll need.

-- BUDGET IN ANY CURRENCY --
Log expenses in any currency and see the total in your home currency as you go. Send an Apple Pay payment to the trip you're on straight from Shortcuts. Expenses breaks down where the money went, by category, and exports it to a spreadsheet.

Scan a passport or ID and Trovelo reads the name, number and expiry date right on your iPhone, and warns you if something runs out before the trip does. Boarding passes, tickets and bookings stay with the trip they belong to.

I’ve been really happy with this app so far. It feels like it’s still growing and improving, but doesn’t feel unfinished in spite of that. The developer has been really responsive to feedback. I let him know something wasn’t working right and literally the next day an update came out to fix it. 

It’s got a very simple setup and design, but still has a lot of details. The way it’s all laid out on a map is great for planning purposes. I would like to see some way of adjusting the time between locations to reflect public transportation versus walking. Great app!

### ***** "Love the Planning, Just Wish the Tips were Better"
I’ve been really enjoying using Trovelo as a private trip planner—it’s super helpful having everything organized in one place. The interface feels clean and modern, and it’s pretty easy to move around different sections. Planning trips feels way less stressful and actually kind of fun because of it.

One thing I think could be improved though is the travel tips (and destinations) section. Right now, it feels a bit limited and hard to notice in the app. I’d love to see more useful, location-based tips—like local customs, safety advice, budget hacks, or just those “good to know” things when traveling. It would be even better if these tips popped up naturally while planning, like suggestions or prompts as you build your itinerary. Making them more interactive and easier to access would really level up the experience.

Overall, Trovelo already has a really solid foundation and is easy to use. I’m excited to see how it grows and improves over time!
