Need subscription
Since the last update you’re no longer able to update the spam list without a subscription
Dodgy practices and dark patterns
The app makes you enable permissions, provide your phone number for an OTP and also name/email, before blocking you from proceeding without signing up to a subscription. This should be done upfront. Uninstalled.
Saw the new iOS update news
Then I saw the price of the app. $9 per month just to add a description to an inbound call is not worth it. All calls are spam now anyway. I’ll just continue to not answer calls I don’t know. Anyone who subscribes and pays $9 for tiny little feature like this, is just bad with money.
New assistant doesn’t even work
Don’t bother. New assistant doesn’t work at all.
No free option anymore
So they have recently started pushing you to pay for this app and there is no way to use it without payment. Each time I load it I’m forced to subscribe, what a joke. Deleting the app now, bye bye
Good app to block spammers
I have the free version of the app and I think it is good. I would opt for the premium version if the cost was half what it is now. I have given the 4 starting mainly because of the ads that pop up everytime I want to manually update the list. It is annoying and I have to attempt the update several times before it actually updates. I don’t remember a single on of the ads so I don’t see the point of shoving this down the throat of free users. Find another way to generate revenue!
Blocked my contacts
I just joined true caller and put all of my information on it It’s not completely set up but enough it will be hard to fix! Unfortunately I found some worrying reviews! What it’s done with my first number search is block my calls list ! I can not see my calls list and contacts because that number and information will not close ! Now im very concerned I have messaged them through the app but don’t know what to do ‘delete my calls app ‘???
