Great Alert
Just tried to use TruWest Card app for 1st time, & fat-fingered a few attempts @ creating username & password (due to unknown password character requirements). Thought I kept getting failure errors, but 1 of them must have been accepted, & I have no idea which 1 it was. Now doesn’t seem to know my email or mobile # to reset the password or tell me my username. Another user reported this problem 3 yr. ago (per App Store reviews), suggesting double entry of password to verify it, which would have prevented this, but it’s still a problem.
When setting up it does not ask you to “Verify Password” so if you fat finger the first PW entry you have to “Forgot Password” to set a new one. It would be much easier to enter it twice at setup. Other than that it seems to be well thought out. Features, assuming they all function correctly, are very good. I hope it all works as advertised, if so it is something everyone should use.
All the apps perks doesn’t work all the time as a matter a fact they don’t work I want a phone notice for every charge, it’s says currently unavailable.
Baffled why this is not integrated with main TruWest app. Two star rating for now because of this.
The app is good and it integrates with my TWCU account flawlessly. However the alert manager has a significant flaw. The alert trigger setting DOES NOT WORK. I set it for $100 but still get an alert for every transaction - in my case many monthly debits less than $100. I do not need an alert for every small regular debit.
