So frustrating to watch anything on this app. Freezes constantly then repeats the ad breaks you’ve just watched whenever anything goes wrong. It’s like I’m being punished for their problems. Please improve.

What a nightmare app to use. Always glitches when trying to cast, trillions of ads that just pop up randomly while you’re trying to watch something and the app freezes when you try and rewind or fastforward. Can’t wait to finish my show so I can delete this app lol.

I paused the cricket and now the app has frozen while loading. This happened yesterday as well. Is it possibly that it has not been optimised for the thousands of people viewing on ipad and phones and it is just too stodgy to move? Yesterday i had to delete and reload. This is a real waste of time! Great idea implemented poorly!

The amount of ads they pushed into this app is insane, its more than youtube. Sometimes when you go off the app and on it again, it will go BEFORE your previous ad break and show you them again, even if you paused the program after the ads finished. I love the shows, but having ads every like 5-8 minutes really stops me from using this app as much.

Trying to watch a show. Not good resolution and cuts out every 2 mins meaning I have to restart the app. Not great for a video streaming service

The ADS. Oh my goodness. I sat through about 6 minutes of ads throughout an 18 minute episode. It felt like every single scene was followed my by ads. It's insufferable. I'd rather just use other apps

Every time I pause what ever I am watching, the app crashes and when I go back in to the app and try to pick up where i left off, it crashes again.
I can be 20 minutes in to a show and have to start from the start again, other wise the app will continue crashing.
Also i have to log in almost every time i open the app. Terribly put together.

Shows are great. Options are great. App is c..p! Keeps stopping. Freezing. Then won’t start. Then has a line at the bottom of the TV screen saying it’s trying to cast the next episode… whilst I’ve only just started this one… only way to get rid of it is to reload the whole thing.  Constantly waiting on the frozen screen. Exhausting. Only sticking with it as it has a show I want.

When watching a live playback the app always has an issue. The program stops which forces you to close, then have to select your show again and try to find where you were up to. Happens every time. So frustrating. Need My List tab visible on home page with just one click without scrolling or going into your profile - desktop and laptop doesn’t have this.

This is such an amateur unprofessionally built app that most year 10 students could do better. 
It is so poorly developed that one would think the sole reason it is there is self gratification for the developer. It certainly wasn’t written with the advertiser or viewer in mind. 
In 2023 it’s hard to see how this got past management - unless of course that management is as bad as the coder. 
A greater argument against involving the state in anything where a result is needed, it would be hard to find.
Dec 24. I wrote this almost 2 years ago. Nothing has changed. I reloaded it- after dumping it - so I could watch cricket. Sadly nobody else transmits the cricket live. 
At least it’s only this series I have to use TVNZ+ and after that I can dump it again and go back to Sky, who do know what they’re doing.

The app has been very slow but recent update now means that shows either won’t play or keep buffering. Also when watching one episode, the app shows on the screen that it’s trying to playback the next episode. Extremely frustrating and near impossible to watch anything. The lasted version is the worst yet.

The software works well overall, but I have one concern: I can’t rewatch content. Although the “play again” button appears, it doesn’t function as expected. 

However, there’s a nice selection of movies and TV series for a free on-demand service with ads. I use Apple TV for specific new releases that interest me or for titles not available on TVNZ+; the range remains extensive.
