I was recommended this book by a mentor over 30 years ago who could see my life was hedonistic and I had no real appreciation of spiritual matters. Despite my  scepticism and reluctance to read this book each day it has over the years  given me a completely different perspective on life, what is important, and how little I knew. It has daily assisted me to sober thinking and greatly enhanced my understanding of spiritual matters. These did not come easily in my case it has been the daily readings repeated year by year that have provided stepping stones to what I previously saw as stumbling blocks!
Highly recommend despite my initial scepticism.
