🤔 The TWG Staff app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
constantly cancelling shifts a day or two before they were supposed to go ahead. blatant contempt for the staff. very poor administration- i would often be paid months after my shifts and only after reminding them. there are many better agencies out there. only sign up for the waiting game if you dont want to make money and enjoy being messed around.
Too many double standards in company protocol
I’ve worked a lot over the last 2/3 weeks with TWG, at least I’ve been trying to, but so many shifts get cancelled with little prior notice. I’ve been penalised for taking too long to confirm my attendance at shifts, but no accountability from the agency when they cancel shifts minutes before I’m due to start? Don’t make sense
Poor business and bad app job.
Managers are awful communicators I would advise against getting involved with this company as an employee
App Problems
No problem with the business but the app is horrendous - it will NOT allow me to upload my photo and therefore I cannot work or even sign onto the app. I’ve tried re downloading and everything but nothings works. Absolutely awful!
great company if you love being messed around
do you like the idea of work being randomly withheld from you with no reasoning? do you want to enjoy the cut and thrust of thinking fast on your feet when job opportunities are randomly taken away from you? do you enjoy the pressure of knowing that at any minute the money you need to live can mysteriously disappear with a little text? then this really is the agency for you!! the waiting game really do offer it all for people who love going destitute because work they’ve planned around is randomly withdrawn with two days’ notice!
Great for flexible work
Great company that lets me work around my studies. Highly recommend for other uni students
Impressive
Very impressive from the minute I downloaded the app and was promoted to attend an induction. Quick and easy process to start applying for shifts. Very flexible and varied work. Cannot recommend TWG enough!
great! just great!
great app and lovely business! app is easy to use, stylish and functional interface. the staff are lovely and helpful too
Great company
I’ve been with The Waiting Game for a year now and the variety of shifts are really good and flexible so I can work around university. Pay is good and they offer good bonuses sometimes, would defo recommend!
Flexible work and good pay
Worked here throughout uni and was a great job to have alongside my studies. No commitment to hours so could literally work as much or as little as I wanted. Often lots of bonuses offered as well which was great 👍 would definitely recommend
