You’ve done it! This is the first time I haven’t abandoned an app or system for organizing my thoughts, notes, lists, tasks in less than 30 days. I put everything in as a task type as default so it carries forward in the today view until I deal with it. This and the today view itself is what has been missing for me everywhere else. I use a sort of para system but I need things to be *not* out of sight. I appreciate that I can organize things into this system, but have them persist on my today view. Frequently updated, always improving. Thank you!!!
Beyond impressed with this app. I’ve tried countless and this app doesn’t compare, it’s seriously next level.
This is a great app. It can sync to my Google calendar; however, I don’t use the calendar component. This is solely my to-do app. I had spent a year on Todoist, but Twos is pay-as-you-use, no more than $12 US dollars, ever. Spend 1 hour with it, use the intuitive tutorial, and you will find it to your liking. It’s chock full of great features, and has more built-in features than you’ll initially need. But after a few days… those extras become go-tos. You ramp up to speed quickly. Show this app some love!
Are you looking for a note app that works with all calendars, has reminders, lists, tags? Great because this is just the start. Twos has built in review method, advanced AI, and its own social network built in. This is only the short list of features. Twos has a supportive community, fast development, and long term vision that makes it my cross platform productivity app of choice. It’s free and even has a fun way to earn advanced features. Happy Twosday!
In March of 2022, I stumbled upon a service called Medium. (I know, I know! Latecomer here.) Excited about this new way to read curated content, I quickly began to spend too much time on the site. One day, though, Medium suggested to me an article written by a developer and the work he was doing in the note-taking/PKM/to-do list/anything else arena. That developer, of course, was Parker Klein and his work was a platform called Twos. Intrigued by the potential, I downloaded Twos and gave it a look around. Now when it comes to note-taking apps, I’m quick to try new ones, but I will drop it as soon as I install it if I see it will not work for me. However, one that has stayed on my phone, and now all my devices, since that day is Twos. The question could be asked, "What app does Twos replace?" The answer - everything and nothing. Twos is not Notion but it could replace it. Twos is not Obsidian or Tana or Roam Research, but it could replace those and more. The beauty of Twos is its simplicity which allows each user to make it their own. Twos meets the needs of the individual from the first time it's opened on your phone, tablet, or computer. Greeted by your first "day", you will be able to write down anything you want without the need to install plugins, set up databases, or watch a YouTube playlist. Are you tired of Facebook drama and Twitter wars? Join us in TwosWorld where you can enjoy a growing community from all corners of the earth, as we share "things" and lists from our private Twos account with the press of a button. (Tis the magic of TwosWorld. 😀) To that point, the Twos community is probably what makes the platform the best in the industry. With that community comes personal interaction with Parker and Joe, the owners of Twos. Have a question about a feature or need help understanding how best to use Twos? Then the community will help you under the leadership of Parker and Joe. There's more that could be said about Twos and its usefulness, but suffice it to say, if you have a thought you want to save, then you need Twos! (By the way, this writeup was written in Twos, published in TwosWorld, and copied/pasted here to Product Hunt, with such ease. You need Twos!)
Can’t understand what the point of this app is as it turns out that there’s no integration with the native reminders app on iPhone. Integration is a coming soon feature apparently but with no planned release date. Without integration it can’t import any past or future reminders into the app meaning you have to manually create any past and all future reminders from the native reminders app. What a huge waste of time for something that purports to be a timesaver. Every basic function which is standard issue in the bare bones reminders app is a so called add on here to push people to buy it instead, the steep learning curve and the unintuitive UI made me delete it.
You are awesome man
The mechanics of the ‘things’ you write down are framework agnostic - you can use Twos to work any system. Most importantly for me, you can revamp your procedures on the fly because of this. Twos captures info easily (all the apps, email, sms), Twos releases info easily (print, text, image, share, publish) and Twos organizes info easily (can split info with tags, list/sublist, and thing type). The one thing I am still working on is how to interconnect my things with links (gather and reference related things without actually merging them). Luckily, it’s Twos, so I trust there is a good solution, or there soon will be. Download this, buy all the upgrades! Not because you need them, but because the dev deserves our $12. Thank you Parker!
I started using Twos over a year ago, and it has dramatically improved the overall organization of my life! I am a very busy full-time professional real estate agent and I always have lots of things going on! Important dates in a transaction are added to my calendar, a list of active customers, a list of prospects, a list of things that came up on an inspection, a wish list of things a buyer wants in their new home, the names of my client’s children, new vendors, & dates for future events are easily added to my calendar (no more double booking myself!). I start a new list for each transaction, and the name of the list is the property address, which makes it very easy to find! The ability to quickly & easily write, remember and FIND your information is incredible. I highly recommend this app!
